It is. I probably made that sound confusing. The power cord for it is a standard USB charging cord that you plug into the standard wall converter (I forget all of the technical terms). I was wondering if you could just plug it straight into a USB port on the TV and avoid some of the mess. I have a 6" cord that would maybe save this thing for me. Guess I'll go test it out!

Just realized this was added. Agree on it having a good selection of songs. The biggest plus is absolutely ZERO ads. Sonos needs to get a plugin for it.

IMO, the video and music streaming services justify the $20 price hike from last year (if you regularly using Prime shipping).

Been on Prime for over 5 years or so and they still amaze me. Bought a cable modem, processed an exchange Saturday evening and a new one was on my doorstep Sunday morning!

Those Sunday deliveries are money. I'm glad that the Post Office can also benefit from Amazon.

Not sure if anyone knows, but they got rid of the free MP3 credit if you chose the no rush shipping instead of your free Prime shipping. Instead of the free MP3 credit, they're offering a free Prime Pantry shipping. The one factor from me trying Pantry was the shipping, but now that I can get it for free, I may try it.

And is anyone else an Amazon junkie? I search on there almost daily and just randomly add stuff to my cart that I like, hoping that the price goes down. I've had stuff in my carts for months then one day it would go on sale for 50% off.

I signed up too, just because it's a thing and it's free. In certain situations I think it would be awesome, we all have things we use often enough to run out but always forget you are running low. Unfortunately, on most everything in that category, Amazon isn't exactly cheap.

We typically clip coupons for that household stuff or buy off-brand. I like the idea, but unless Amazon offers coupons more consistently to compete with brick and mortar stores then I think it'll take awhile to be successful.

I think im going to go with the fire stick for the simple reason that I have Amazon Prime.

I wanted the chrome cast for the browser use on the tv but it probably doesn't matter really with phones and tablets I have.

I hate that it needs to be plugged in the wall but besides that, I think by me not really using pandora or whatever makes it easier.

My appletv can get stuff too and doesn't have prime on it so that's the main factor. I let Netflix go some time after losing my last job so for now I'll roll with prime, so i hope the non pay content is half as good.
