I read it in Clancy Brown's voice. I need to see Eisenberg act like this before I believe in him, I don't think it's out of the question that he can pull it off, but the tone of the character from the trailer and from the interview aren't the same to me.

I'm kinda hoping its bizarro. Because it would make more sense than doomsday or darkseid being made by lex.

Plus I don't get why they would blow doomsday or darkseid on the first movie of their juggernaut franchise. Seems silly to me.

That's like thanos being the villain in ironman 2. Gtfo lol.

I agree. Doomsday should be in a Man of Steel sequel.

Honestly, I'm done watching stuff about the movie.

Not because it's spoiling the movie (which it is) but because it's ruining my excitement for the movie. It just looks worse and worse.

I was listening to a podcast last night and the host said the recording was done quite a while ago so it might be dated stuff but they were discussing this movie a bit. One rumor out there is that the thing that makes Batman snap and go crazy is that his wife dies and the hubbub about the Robin that died is that it's Dick Grayson! Has this been addressed in the fan media?

I will say I do like the idea of Batman being the nominal "villain" of this film but it's a HUUUGE risk to take considering how obtuse the Batman fanbase can be. The reaction to this film will be very interesting on that aspect alone.

The more previews I see the less I care about Batman and the more I want to see Supes. I'm really hoping they're not setting up a Return of Superman arc with this film, but either way I guess we won't be getting a standalone Cavill/Superman movie for awhile (if ever again).

The more previews I see the less I care about Batman and the more I want to see Supes. I'm really hoping they're not setting up a Return of Superman arc with this film, but either way I guess we won't be getting a standalone Cavill/Superman movie for awhile (if ever again).

Zack Snyder said they're doing at least one more, he wanted to stress that this movie was NOT Man of Steel 2, but they were working on it.

I'm excited, too. Suicide Squad has me a lot more excited, however.

I'm not sure why there is such negativity surrounding this film from around the internet. I understand Marvel made this shared universe thing successful, but their films aren't exactly stellar examples of film making, either.

If nothing else the dialogue will be cornballish, the action will be stylishly shot, and the plot will be wishy-washy. As long as its better than Batman & Robin I will be fine.

Well if you read what I wrote in my last post it's those kind of rumors and speculation that makes comic book fans/geeks want to jump off buildings. I agree, the Marvel movies are fine for what they are but they're not exactly Oscar worthy films. The thing is, DC seems to have a very low popularity profile among the general audience. In the same podcast I listened to the host was relating how he was in the theatre when they played the teaser trailer for this movie and it garnered a tepid reaction while the Ant-Man trailer had everyone buzzing.

It's a little disturbing when the second Ant-Man is getting more excitement than a couple of the greatest comics characters ever in Batman and Superman. I will say this though, if this movie catches fire and does well at the box office then perceptions will change a bit.

From the trailers I think some of the production values in the Dc films looks of lesser quality than Marvel.
