Variety is estimating that the movie will pull in a three-day total of just $50 million for its second weekend, down from an expected $58 million. When studios see revised numbers, they generally do not like to see them revised downward, and that downward trend may be part of why Warner Bros. is reportedly retooling Suicide Squad to avoid some of the criticisms that have been leveled against Batman V Superman.

Are we talking about WW or just USA because I know the movie is already dropping off a lot but the movie is only like 150 million maybe 130 million behind Deadpool WW so I don't see it not getting there.

Wonderwoman barely had any lines and was a mute most of the movie

I don't agree with the "Captain America shield" thing cause WW uses a shield quite a bit in her comic history before Cap's popularity has really taken off in recent years.

Everything else spot on though. I just don't get the internet's sudden praise of Wonder Woman and Gal Gadot in this movie. What did she do that was so amazing? What did she do that made her do such a "great" job as Wonder Woman? She was a mute for the majority of this thing. We pretty much saw the extent of her involvement in the trailers and it was nothing to judge anything from. There's probably 5 other actresses that could of played that part in that movie and done the exact same thing. Make tough faces, a seductive face once or twice and delivered a couple lines.

The more I think about the movie the more I realize DC totally ****ed up their universe. Still stand by the opinion that this should've been Man of Steel 2, ESPECIALLY if you're gonna do him the way they did.



Overall, this just furthers my fear that we're just people who'll go see a movie. When Iron Man came out and was good, there was a real feeling of wow, we're going to get the comic universe we've been seeing in our minds for years on the big screen. Marvel basically built a whole franchise around appealing to comic fans.



WB is just clueless IMO. They don't know what the **** they're doing. This is clear to me in Man of Steel which I hated and this movie which I hated less but was just not good, they're just making movies. Say what you want ablut Marvel movies being the same, but if you're a ****ing Ant-Man fan, you were never going to get a movie, and now you have one. I just don't understand why they seem to have such fundemantal misunderstandings of two of the most iconic heroes ever. I've been reading about Zack Snyder hating Superman, which I would've thought just from the **** show of man of Steel but we knew when they put him in charge of this universe how the movies were going to be. Visually great, everything else mediocre with awful dialogue. Combine that with a movie that should've been 3 turning into 1, and I don't even know what they're supposed to do now. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.



Someone I listen to always makes the point that he's a Sci-Fi movie fan but that doesn't mean you go see every movie set in space. I hope comic book fans can be more discerning and let these **** moves die the way they deserve to, if you can't make a decent movie with Batman and Superman in it, ****ing give up.

The thing is, there's still the novelty of 'ZOMG, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are going to be in a movie! TOGETHER!! AHHHH!!!!!' That will make people go out and buy these movies. Which just sheds more light (and tears for me occasionally) on the fact that 2016 and 2018 shouldn't be the first damn time we're seeing the Trinity/Justice League in a damn movie. Warner Bros/DC has no excuse for not having already done this considering they have control of all their characters.

Avengers couldn't happen because Marvel ****ed up and allowed all their characters to end up in contracts for perpetuity with damn near every studio in Hollywood. It took years to get back even the characters they have right now and they weren't even big names when they got them, but now they are because of the cinematic universe they took the time and effort to create.

Meanwhile DC has had everyone in house the whole time (specifically the three most important) and are somehow playing catch up to Marvel. It's so damn disappointing to know the size of the ball they've dropped and appear to be setting up to drop again in these next few years.

I meant in the sense that Cap is super popular now in mainstream culture, Wonder Woman having a shield in the movie isn't giving her one just because Cap has one in the Avengers movies as I took 23's remark to be implying (my bad if you weren't Dre). She's actually been using a shield for some time now because she's Amazonian. The shield plays that up.

Ah makes sense, yeah I just think he said that because people don't associate her with a shield, they associate her with her gauntlets and lasso, I never think of her using a shield even though she has.

I don't mind when something is changed about a character as there have been many changes over the years. Superman never used to fly at the beginning he used to jump/leap then it was changed to flying.

It was the kryptonite that weakened his cells. Yep movie sucked. Wb fudged themselves when they choose sack Snyder as director. It's going all downhill from here. Should just reboot now. There numbers are going to blow if they keep making shart movies. I hope the studio takes Snyder completely out of this mess and backs a big truck of money up to Nolan, Abrams, whedon or any director that's not an awful one who has proven they can make a good move. End rant
