    Re: Better Call Saul

God I love this show. I'm also glad Mike and Saul started to have some sort of relationship beyond the amount of stickers Saul has lol. I wonder if Mike is involved in any criminal business at this point or if him and Saul will basically get into it together.

If I had a complaint, it would be that the preview reveals a bit too much, but that's just personal feelings. Can't wait for next week.

I like that each episode shows more and more about Jimmys past, I really hope that trend continues for awhile. Easily my cant miss show right now.

I thought the third episode was the best one so far... which all of them have been great, but this one was just awesome.

            I literally LOL'ed at:

            Spoiler

Lastly since this show is such a hit here is a hypothetical "would you rather?" for you:

Would you rather the next spin-off be about what happens to Jesse and possibly Gene (formally Jimmy/Saul) post Heisenberg OR another prequel featuring Mike and his days as a cop in Philadelphia?

Kept asking myself, "why does Nacho look so damn familiar?" and then it finally hit me in the last episode...

              He was Vaas in Far Cry 3 - still a twisted/crazy ****.

              Love this show.

I appreciate that, but I go beyond previews and even watch the AMC website's one to two minute "straight clips", which included all Breaking Bad and this week's Better Call Saul. I can't help myself.

For me it's no big deal.

As for the show Odenkirk is nailing it, but they need Mike in as a full fledged second banana. And I'm not sure they're going there. Even with Mike so far limited, I'm pleasantly surprised how good it is.

Sharing the sentiment echoed here, as far as I'm concerned Better Call Saul is right up there with GoT. So glad this is a great show, it's a superb follow up to the best show ever created.

I don't see a Mike as a cop show plausible. I figure they reveal more of his past at some point during BCS's run. What makes this show work so well is you have no real details of Saul's past from Breaking Bad. You know his name was Jimmy McGil and that's about it. The writers have pretty much free reign outside of the fact that he eventually has to develop into sleazy Saul Goodman. With Mike I see them touching on his past after he becomes more of an integral part of the show.

I could definitely go for more Jesse storyline.

A Jesse series would be like a Robin series. You need both to play off the tension.

I also don't see Jesse doing too much of interest post Breaking Bad. Or I guess I would hope he doesn't. He deserves a happily ever after.

                          Re: Better Call Saul

I don't think there's a story to tell with Jesse after the fact.

We will never get a Mike prequel show either.

If there is another spin off, I could see Vince Gilligan leaving New Mexico and going into Mexico.

Saying all that, I think this is it unless Better Call Saul introduces us to a new character that would work as a new series six years from now.

I wonder if those kids hope their parents are put away and they end up in a foster home? What a couple of nuts.

If you paid attention to my tweets, you would have known that last week.

But yeah, I noticed when he was sitting in Jimmy's office last week. Voice sounded familiar to me, then it hit me who he was. Still awesome.
