Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)

Based on what Jeff said on twitter, sounds like there will at least be a season 31. He was taking suggestions on "One liners" people would want him to say to replace the old one liners he's been saying for most of the shows run. Funny thing is how people don't seem to like the "Want to know what you're playing for?" line at reward challenges.

People submitted other ideas besides lines(including themes they'd like to see for seasons). I submitted abunch of the ones I had(like the BB-Survivor crossover stuff, and the season with no hidden idol(but don't tell the castaways there isn't an idol, which would make for some funny scenes with people getting paranoid about who has the idol or just where the idol might be hidden)).

So it's good at least that Survivor will be going on past season 30.

lol, it finally happened, they got rid of Rocker. Should've kept him, cause going into the merge, he'd obviously be the biggest target from the start.

Just hope they don't switch up tribes because they feel sorry for the orange tribe losing all the time.

Surprised Rocker didn't play his idol. I thought the girl who isn't Baylor was blabbing enough to make it obvious things were changing.

              Dude was waaaaaay overconfident...

Nothing spells "lame" like going down in a blindside with an idol in your pocket!

As much heat as he should've been feeling I can't believe he was confident enough to keep it. I guess that's arrogance for you

That twin is so annoying. Running her mouth about something she doesn't know and only has heard about a few hours beforehand. I like how she tried to make Rocker look like the bad guy, but she came out looking like a fool with her rant. I really want her gone next once Blue loses.

As for Rocker, well I thought he would play the idol once the dumb blonde girl started revealing Josh's plan. But he's ignorant, so of course he didn't.

I once again do not understand the point of telling someone you have an idol. He tells Josh like it's nothing. And it's not like he was trying to gain his trust. He just opened his mouth way too much.

Also they need to stop having pre-determined teams.

They need to have a race at the start of the season. First 2 winners get clues to the HII, but also become team captains and choose their teams. Maybe it will actually make things a little bit more competitive and stop having the merge happen so quickly.

But team captains/HII clue people are always targets first, that usually results in weaker players getting far. There's nothing wrong with the current way they create the tribes(though maybe have an individual comp at start of season and the order people finish, leads to the weighting used on creating the tribes). The problem is that they give up on the tribes so early. Like after 4-5 weeks they switch up the tribes for 1-2 weeks before merging them.

They should start a season with no tribes. Meaning everyone is playing an individual game from day 1. Or even have something like the merge doesn't come at the predictable part of the season, cause everyone always anticipates the merge and plans for it, so if they want the game to be more crazy, just have usual moments at different times.

Or a reverse merge! They all start out together, then anti-merge into tribes, merge again, then split into brand new tribes!

She is/was annoying but I'm not sure her rant made her look like a fool. Because of her rant:

                        A) Rocker basically threatened to fight a girl
                        B) By making that thread, he brought credibility to the claims and assumptions about him
                        C) He was voted out (what she was trying to make happen)

It was pretty stupid for them to vote him out this early. I would've wanted him sitting next to me in the finals.

Maybe to her tribe she didn't look like a fool, but IMO she made herself look like a fool to the public for speaking so strongly about something that she knew nothing about.

Yes, she got the job done, but I think Rocker did a better job at getting himself voted out than by the girl running her mouth.

I don't think anyone on Rocker's tribe wanted to vote for him because he is this racist bigot (even after making the punch you in the mouth comment) I think it was more of him opening his mouth (about the idol) than anything. Josh would have kept him, since he would have been a perfect partner in the final 3. But he knew Rocker was playing his game of survivor, and he didn't want to risk Rocker making a move before he could.

And as for my team suggestion, maybe that wouldn't work.
I still think we should make 1 huge tribe. That would spice things up a little.

If you watched her and twin on the Amazing Race, you already knew she is a fool. They think they are so much better than they are. If you notice her twin's comments about counting the guy as a woman, etc they really are close to being like Rocker themselves.

I've suggested the 1 large tribe before. Then each competition they break them up into teams and the losing team goes to tribal. It would make for some interesting situations, but could become more of luck than anything. Maybe if they added something where the other team could then save 1 person from the losers so if all the weak people are on a tribe with 1 strong person, they other team made up of the strong could save them. It would also make throwing the challenge risky.

Completely forgot about that comment the other twin made. Which was one of the reasons her name was written down by Josh.

^lol exactly. Kind of funny that she's the one bashing Rocker when both those twins are also loudmouths who speak before they think/don't have a filter.

Can't believe Drew got voted out. That was the worst vote management I've seen in Survivor in quite some time. Even stupider than the Tyson mess up in Heroes vs Villains. 4 girls,5 guys. 4 girls vote together and then the 5 guys vote for 3 different people, somehow expecting to get their way? Just stupid really. And even worse that it was Drew who was gone cause he was one of my main picks on the season.

And now here comes the part of the season I don't like so much: (spoiler from the next week preview)
