This season is weak. First time I've felt that way in a long while.

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
I actually like the season. Not as good as some of the past bunch, but still above average.
The opening to the episode was so funny. Jeff walks in, gets basically everything from the tribe, gives them the rice, and then leaves. That was a stupid decision. Like Jeremy said, they could just go on and win a reward challenge and the rice would be a thing of the past.
For a tribe with people like Reed(who has watched the show for lots of seasons) on it, surprised he's the one wanting to do this trade. Anyone who remembers basic Survivor history knows when the merge will be coming, so why bother getting rice now at the expense of your camp, when a merge is coming?! Speaking of Survivor history..funny to hear Jeff mention Australia. I still remember that moment on the season with the flood that washed away everything. Part of me was actually thinking the reward at the challenge was gonna be everything Jeff took from their camp, would've been funny to see.
And the whole fake idol thing...I wanted Dale to stay so badly just for that! That would've been one of the best highlights of the season, Dale managing to stay cause of a fake idol, giving it to Jon, and then seeing how rest of season played out up until they realize that idol is fake(whether it be at camp days later,or at tribal when it's played)Comment

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
Not again....! Tired of seeing this happening so much. 6 people have quit in the past 9 seasons! Previous 20 seasons before that had 6,and the earlier seasons was alot harder on contestants. And even then there were more legitimate reasons. All of which who've quit the past 9 seasons just couldn't take it anymore. 2 in the first 20 seasons had legit reasons to quit. Jenna quit cause her mother was sick(and did die soon after Jenna left to go home),Sue quit cause of a disturbing incident with her and Richard.
Fairplay quit cause his wife was gonna have a baby(though he obviously knew before agreeing to be on Survivor, that'd be the case. Not to mention his wife quit another reality show years later for slightly similar reasons)
Something really needs to be done cause this is just getting out of control. And to make things worse...a quitter might be on the jury? Last time a quitter was on the jury, they intentionally messed with the voting so the wrong person would win.Comment

I was surprised Jeff didn't rip into her, I was honestly looking forward to it. Who would've thought Rocker would come off as more likable than his booWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
I wonder if she was a Survivor fan or anything or wanted to be on the show. Cause castings like this seems more like they casted for Rocker than her. Based on season preview they had after an episode 2 months ago, I think
(this doesn't mention any names, just a guess on what I think happened later this season based off a 4 second preview clip)
Spoilersomeone else quits too!? Not entirely sure, but would suck if true.Comment

It was disappointing in this episode because I was ready for that first merged tribal so things can start getting messed up!

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
This episode is proof of how social game is big part of Survivor, you let it slip for abit and it costs you big time. Those guys didn't care about Jaclyn at all for those 2 days and she flipped and took Jon with her.
This is a trend of Survivor or something....2 of the people I want to make it to the end always seem to end up on opposing sides and want each other out! At this point in the game, Josh,Baylor and Jeremy final 3 is what I would've wanted, but that obviously won't happen anymore!
Of everyone remaining, only 2 people I'd be real happy with if they won.Comment

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
I really thought Josh would make it to the end based on all the TV time he's gotten. Next to him, Baylor got the most TV time and Jeremy right after her. Really, if anyone other than those 2 wins the game, I'll be shocked.
Worst case scenario final 3 for me at this point is probably Missy,Natalie,Jaclyn. All are boring on the show. Funny though how I want Baylor in the finals, but don't like Missy, seeing how if Baylor gets to the finals, Missy is prob making it far too.Comment

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
Good episode. I like the switch ups and the fact J & J switched instead of just staying with the status quo just because it was safe. I don't see why Jon is so fixated on the firefighter winning because of his family and story. Nobody votes at the end for the people that need the money. They vote for who played the best.
Alec needs to go next week. The dudes a grade A douche.
Maybe this isn't such a viable way to predict? I think the producers have caught onto this assumption by now and use it against viewers who take this stance.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
2.It's not a logical way to predict, but it's more likely to be true. After all, would they really edit the show to have people who aren't gonna be good/important at all on camera more than the ones who've made it to the end/actually made good moves?
Throughout Survivor history, there have been many "winner edits" where based on the edits of the season, it really leaned towards the favor of certain people who ended up winning. I really first noticed it when Rob won, then Kim later on,and then Tyson and then Tony. They were the centerpiece of their season for a big part of it, to the point where anyone except them winning would be a shock.
Though it's obviously been opposite way as well, where the "centerpiece" person didn't win. Malcolm specifically in the more recent seasons was like that.Comment

Re: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs Water 2)
Now this sucks! Back to back weeks, 2 of my final 3 picks are out!?! Now I'm hating this season. It's not bad season or anything, just hating how things are ending up in terms of whose been voted out!
As this point now, only 1 person left I want to win:
And this is something I've hated on Survivor for years...there NEEDS to be some sort of rule that prevents people from going through other peoples personal belongings. Just stupid how someone can just walk up to someone elses bag and go through it, regardless of the reason why.Comment
