So I almost hate to admit it because I didn't like the casting of it (was pretty neutral on Smith as Deadshot but I haaaaaaaate Leto as the Joker) but...this looks really good actually. I still don't like Leto as the Joker but all my other question marks are pretty much crossed out now. Like the tone, love Harley (the "shotgun" pump sold me), am willing to take a flyer on Smith, and I can dig the angle.

The Joker looks good and the laugh is great.

Yeah I was skeptical at first but I'm all in now. Trailer is great

I still hate the design of the Joker, but I think the performance will be pretty great.

Also, I guess most of us were wrong and the torture scene involves Harley Quinn and not Jason Todd.

I can't think of a better Amanda Waller than Viola Davis. Just that short clip she captures it. Also Margo Robbie is nailing it too as Harley

They gotta show him killing Robin at some point. And since the trailer shows Batman on top of the Joker's car, it's probably in this movie.

Pretty solid trailer. Definitely interested to see more Batman so soon after BvS, but what's the timeline of this? Obviously it comes out after BvS, but when does it take place? Because Batman is old in this universe. Also, Harley not having an accent is a bummer.

I thought the Joker scenes in Suicide Squad were flashbacks to when he kills Robin? That seems to be the rumor anyway.

No they don't.

At the very least, it might be inferred that he does kill Robin, even if there isn't a scene showing it.

If there is a scene, Snyder might do it like the scene in Watchmen when Walter first became Rorschach (using the shadows).

Just seems like a scene they should save for an actual Batman movie. If this movie is about the Suicide Squad, I dont really need Joker to take over the entire film with scenes that have nothing to do with the Suicide Squad. A Harley Joker torture scene sets the stage, the motivations, the mindset of those two characters for this film. An additional Joker Robin torture scene comes off as beating a dead horse for the Joker and carelessly throws the Batman's (and Robin's) story in there. I dont need to see that in a movie about the Suicide Squad. Think about it, how much focus would be sapped away from the Suicide Squad if you have that heavy scene in the movie? It would literally become all about Harley Joker and Batman. Nope, save it for Batman's movie.

I want to focus on the Suicide Squad, not Batman and his issues. But I get it, we need to shoehorn Batman and his vengeance into everything these days. Hell Metropolis and Gotham magically became neighboring cities in this universe to get batman's vengeance involved there lmao. "San Francisco and Oakland" according to Snyder.
