No other way to put it, this f'n sucks. Stu put up a very brave fight and I'm comforted by the fact that he is no longer in pain. A huge loss.

That ESPY speech made me cry as much as I did during Jimmy V's.

I was never a big fan of Stuart's style, but seeing how much his colleagues respected and loved him gives me a great perspective of the man he was beyond TV. He'll surely be missed in the sports industry.

Woke up to this story and can't tell you how sad it is to hear this but at the same time this terrible disease was giving him all that he could handle. He can finally rest.

This man was an incredible Sportscaster for ESPN. May he RIP and may God give his 2 daughters/family some comfort during this difficult time.

Aside from Sports itself, he was pretty much the reason I got into Sportscenter. I've lost a grandmother and a cousin to Cancer also and my prayers are out to his family and everyone affected by his death.

Scott was a big reason I wanted to be a sports journalist. Guy always made the job look fun. It hurts me a lot to read this news this morning. Gone too soon.

Yeah, he will be missed. My dad used to find him to be funny, at times. He is a personality that will be missed on Sportscenter. He's one of the guys that wasn't afraid to say exactly what was on his mind.

This sucks, he imo is one of the biggest reasons Sportscenter has been such a big thing in culture these days.

Him with either Eisen or SVP were the best ESPN pairings.
