    Memory Foam Mattress

I think we should discuss the benefits of having a memory foam mattress. Of course, 6 inches thick is what I recommend. We spend about a 1/3 of our lives of lives sleeping. It would be great to discuss something that affects us all. I like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs. It conforms to your body, as you have a deep sleep. It cradles your back and shoulders. It's like you were sleeping on a huge marshmallow Peep. Yes, its that comfortable. I personally love memory foam. I wake up refreshed, with more energy. I don't toss and turn, anymore.

We get that you're more than content with 6 inches, but is 6 inches enough to satisfy your wife? Don't forget she also spends 1/3 of her life on it.

Well, that depends on who's using it. It depends on your personal needs, when you sleep. Some people, might want firm. Some, might need really soft. Some, might want the kind that you can bounce on.

Do they have the kind that's adjustable for 2 people in the same bed?

            Re: Memory Foam Mattress

I like that it can also absorb body heat, as you sleep. Its like laying on a huge oven mitt. Which makes it safe to sleep. Also, there's no fear of setting your mattress on fire, while you sleep.

Also, I like that it's shock absorbent. If you move, your bed doesn't make a noise. Noise is the last thing we need, when we're fast asleep. Athletes would benefit from this. The spinal cord is getting relief from pressure points. These pressure points can come from a regular spring mattress.

Plus, if you have an injured back it supports your back muscles and speed up the healing process. A strained back, gets a break from holding the full burden of supporting your body weight. At least, that's what new research is saying.

              This reads like an infomercial

But I do have a 1 1/2 inch memory foam pad on top of my mattress as well as memory foam pillows.

Has anyone else here tried it? I have never slept the same way, until I discovered memory foam. I feel that's its the smartest investment I've ever made for myself. More people should try it out. If more people could get a better night sleep, we'd have less grumpy people. You won't wake up with a hurt neck. You know the feeling of having a stiff neck. We've all had that, at some point.

Then, you'd benefit from one of these. They even have memory foam pillows. I have one. They compliment each other. They work really well together, when used at the same time.

They cost too much. I'd have to take a month off of the mortgage to buy one.

Actually, they do have a payment plans. Of course, that's with approved credit. Also, you could do what I do. I buy them a piece at a time. Now, that's being resourceful. Plus, soft bedsheets work really well together. The softer the better, I always say. You can shop around for products that can fit your budget. I know. I've done it myself. Thank goodness for free enterprising. There are several options available. You don't have to get ripped off. My advice is shop around. A wise person said that a long time ago. There are several different places that offer deals on products like this. I've looked around myself. Its like anything in life, be a smart consumer. As with anything else, if you special order a product there's the old problem. There's the shipping cost. That can be considerable. I mean we're not talking about a buying a blu-ray. I have found out that the shipping cost can actually be more. That depends on where you go. These products are heavier than you think. That's one of the drawbacks.
