Begging the question does not mean "asking the question." But most people get this wrong.
Yes, I know that. I'm curious, if there is research on this matter. Have you guys heard anything about this?

You have to admit that you're just as curious, as I am. Thankfully, that's why we have research to answer scientific questions like this one. I admit, it does make you think.

I would love a memory foam mattress, problem is the women I share a bed with prefers a mattress that resembles plywood.

Of course not. I'm just curious. How quickly does it ignite? I have danger level concerns, that's all. I do admit, that would be fascinating to watch.

There are mattresses that can be adjusted by the firmness of the user, already. I'm not sure where, but you can buy them.

Well do you plan on putting your bed in a Danger Zone?

No. I am concerned about other people who use them, that's all. I'm too smart and overprotective for that.

Memory foam isn't the one where you can put the glass of wine on one side and jump around on the other side without spilling, is it?

What happens if I don't have a spine? Should I get this anyway?

Well, it would still give your other body parts support. I noticed that the nervous system is really sensitive, during sleep. Its really easy to wake up a person. The cradling effect you get makes it harder to be disturbed, while you sleep. It appears that you get a much more beneficial deeper sleep. This deeper sleep is said to help improve memory and overall body functions, while you're awake. You wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Wouldn't it be bad to not have a spine?

Well, yes. Your nervous system would be incomplete. You wouldn't be able to get the full benefit of full body movement. Your spinal cord allows the full benefit of supporting your neck, shoulders, and your brain. The human head weighs about 8 pounds. That's one of the heaviest parts of the body. That needs to be straight and upright. If you don't have a spinal cord, you would have to rely on your muscles completely. Can you imagine the tremendous pain you'd be in? To put it simply, your entire body would out of alignment. You'd experience a tremendous shock to nervous system with every movement. You see, gravity has an effect on the overall body functions. Having no spinal cord, would increase the effect of gravity to a painful degree. In theory, It could be fatal.
