I still watch this weekly but sometimes I don't think the show has a clear vision. There needs to be a primary villain and Max Lord was a great fit that is gone in Area 51 or something.

They have good actors but the writing sometimes just baffles me a bit.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I enjoyed the episode, but it's disappointing that for the second crossover in a row, the Supergirl portion doesn't have any of the crossover and is all set-up. Heck, the first one was barely a set-up, much like this one.

Who else is just waiting on Mon-El to finally get lead poisoning?

I actually like the quirks of the character, but not the romance between him and Kara. The problem is he was brought in exclusively to be a love interest of Supes-G so barring lead poisoning they may be stuck on that angle.

I actually enjoy the chemistry between the two.

Benoist is at her best when dealing with people as Kara...not Supergirl. I have a feeling the Flash airing tonight will be really entertaining.

With six episodes left in season 2, Lena Luthor gets a promotion to series regular in season 3. Also, how do these foreign actors/actresses do such good American accents?

Mentioning it in all other threads, but seems like CW shows taking some time off.

After this week, no more Supergirl until April 24th(episode airs every week from then until finale May 22nd)

                        Re: Supergirl (CW)

This season is all over the place....Cagmus seemed to be prominent figure but then nothing the past few episodes? There was a big push on Guardian then it just kind of feels like an add-on.

I think James, Winn, Kara, "Mike", J'onn...these are the primary folks that I think have good actors playing them and can elicit emotion from the viewer (not feeling Alex or the rest at all). I really enjoyed Lord's character last year but they rid of him for some reason - he seemed to really have a good hold on how to be the annoying villain you can't seem to get rid of.

Maybe it's me...I'm just not feeling it as I'm disappointed in the writing for this season. I honestly don't see much hope here as each episode doesn't really connect to the next one nearly as much as Flash or Arrow or Legends.

Kara is way too in to Lena lol. More than BFFs.....Funny how they had that random N'SYNC and Timberlake/Brittney debate.

Lol, so Cat knows Guardian is James because of his eyes, yet can't tell Kiera is Supergirl.

And Lena knows MonEl is Kara's bf, Supergirl saves him, but nothing's up...

Season finale final scene should be Lena finding out Kara is Supergirl.

I think the shows best moments were at CatCo vs. the action scenes with Supergirl. Melissa Benoist is much more enjoyable in the awkward scenes at the office than at the DEO.
This was from 3 months ago and my opinion hasn't changed now that S2 is over. Maybe it's me but I thoroughly enjoy her scenes as Kara vs. Supergirl. I just...I'm not buying any of the action scenes...I just don't think she's a good action actress. Then again, maybe it's the director because I see fight scenes and no blood or scratches on her (which just annoys me for some reason). Her punches, how she reacts to hits...it just seems off to me.

I love her as Kara. She's cute. She's awkward. She's funny. She has great chemistry with Mon-El, Cat Grant, Jimmy, Whinn...when she's in the office or doing "human" things, it's really fun to watch but I'm not buying Supergirl. Maybe it's because as the viewer, I don't know what's going to happen and I'm intrigued.

I've said this a few times and I'm not trying to be negative. I guess it's my frustration at the writers with how they've progressed the story and how ALL OVER THE PLACE they were for this season.

Nice season finale. Actually felt like everything came full circle in a way.

Wonder what the ending means. There's a 3rd Kryptonian who survived? And they were also a baby during the explosion. And did Mon-El die or just sucked into some other galaxy?

And Cat actually knows Kara is Supergirl! Even more reason I hate that she's not gonna be around for this series that much. Cat-Kara relationship was great and the added dynamic of the viewers knowing Cat knows who Kara is makes it even better. And also that one liner about Star Wars which is obviously funny to those who remember who Cats actor is married to. But I wonder if Lena actually knows seeing how she flat out tells Supergirl that Kara-Mon El are dating.

Ya, Kara > Supergirl. All those little things about Kara makes her way better than Supergirl.
