Seeing how it was technically an episode of Supergirl, it was best episode of the series.
After 1st episode alone I already knew it'd be best crossover in any of the series. Alex and Sara 7 minutes into the episode lol. Does Sara just have a radar? Literally any place, any time, any earth.
Kara singing at the wedding was great. And just seeing the intro to the show too, felt so much like a movie.Comment

It's sad watching crossover and then seeing everyone go back to their own show. Not that SG doesn't have a good storyline starting now with Reign, but if the show ever gets cancelled, I hope they add her as a main character on Flash.Comment

I think most of the supporting characters have taken steps back. James and Winn were such important people to Kara and now they're just basically business associates to her.
Alex I think could be better if they stop focusing on relationships from either sister. Its been nothing but Maggie and MonEl the past year. If they go back to their regular sister stuff, it'd be better.
Like when they used to have those game night scenes. Kara getting overly excited over pot stickers, and Alex, James, Winn all coming over too. Felt more like family and friends instead of the side characters they've become. Had lots of potential from when they were trying to track down Jeremiah, but they rushed it, made him some Cadmas prisoner and abandoned everything after.Last edited by Majingir; 11-30-2017, 11:50 PM.Comment

That's part of it also. The writing is all over the place instead of choreographed episodes that build to the seasons climax. Lots of lost potential this show became.Originally posted by Gibson88Comment

I wonder how this show ends up given what happened recently with the firing. This show more than any other CW show I think benefits the most given the nature of the show and the type of person no longer around it.Comment

Mid-season finale time already! At least this time there's an actual mid-season finale for the show. Last year the final Supergirl appearance was the first episode to set up the crossover. The CBS one was about 3 or so weeks, though it did end with Cat outing Kara as Supergirl.
This break will last 6 weeks. The longest break in a single season in the shows history.
All CW shows I believe got breaks after this week, all returning about the same time. With the Olympics in February and this being the first time all but Arrow has aired during the Olympics, I think CW is probably just gonna push out new episodes alot in February (NBC has Olympics, and CBS is holding off on a number of returns until after Olympics, and using Celebrity Big Brother as a filler)Comment
