I am enjoying this so far.

Reminds me of Alex Mack back in the day.

      Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)

      I give it an 8/10.

It was very intriguing and, being the girl is a year younger than me (IRL), I find her fairly attractive and watchable.

Anyways, I like both the Olsen and helper actors. The exchanges with her boss was perfect as it really helps with the ignorant/innocent girl theme they're wanting to portray so I'm assuming it will continue, as I frankly enjoyed the banter. I agree with a poster from earlier that they need to limit Superman...using Olsen as a liaison is a good way of keeping ties together.

One criticism I have is that the main character (Melissa Benoist?) left me kinda iffy on her acting skills. Scenes of action or where it called for her to be intimidated or "heroic" I wasn't feeling....they must shore that up to reach levels that even Smallville did.

I'll definitely be tuned in next week though.

I really liked it looking forward to seeing more episodes. Thought the special effects were well done as well.

First off I hope it's more consistent then Smallville was.

Didn't have any problem with her acting. I thought she released her "inner hero" pretty well, and her office girl persona is very charming.

The airplane scene, from the special effects to the emotion of it all was very well done.

I laughed out loud when the TV reporter said, "Guardian angel or human wrecking ball?"

Seems like it'll take a few episodes to really see what the show is about. Though it had more of a movie type feel to it compared to some of those other shows on TV right now(like flash/arrow and stuff)

Agreed. I really liked the production value of it. Not bad for a TV show.
My kids really loved it too, although my older son kept saying he hopes that Superman makes an appearance, haha.

Looks to be a good family show for us to enjoy overall.

Jaybee, I agree with your statement as well. I loved Smallville - for the first few seasons. Then it lost me.
I hope this show can maintain some consistency throughout.

I didn't mind it. Actually enjoyed it. I liked the Jimmy Olsen character. Supergirl is pretty solid. She's cute too. I'm interested to see where this series goes.

Enjoyed the first episode, plus I'm confident with the show being a success since it's from the Flash/Arrow Guys. I look forward to what they'll bring to the table.

The twin sister dynamic is a nice twist, because it appears the aunt is not a one dimensional bad guy (girl)-she seems to be working toward what she thinks is the greater good....although she does want to rule Earth.

Good if not great episode with an "appearance" by The Man Of Steel.

Ratings still solid, even after a 23% drop, but third in the timeslot and just ahead of Gotham.

I was thinking he might be Martian Manhunter when I saw the red eyes. MM's ability to shapeshift could make that a possibility but I'll take your word for it.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

It's ok so far, but really starts seeming like a lesser version of Arrow/Flash at times. They're all following real similar guidelines.

Will probably take time to get used to, cause right now, outside of Kara/James, not really liking other characters so much. That boss is annyoying, her sister doesn't really stand out, that evil guy will probably make things interesting later on, and that computer guy at the newspaper is just there to find stuff for Kara to go save.

                                Anyone still following the show?

Episode tonight was supposed to air last week, which did kind of show in this episode with mini inconsistent things with the prior episode(things addressed last week, were brought up this week as being unanswered).

Reason was cause of the stuff in Paris and how this episode featured similar things.

Didn't think it was so bad when just hearing that, but then seeing episode,I could see how it'd make some feel uneasy just 3 days after that stuff. Bomb in a building going off, and people in that cafe of all places being the ones who heard it. And then the bombs in the airport and the train, with a guy blowing himself up on the train. Definitely would've been horrible for them if it had aired last week.

And also abit crazy when you remember that some things like that, which you'd see in a tv show or movie, that you'd just think/hope only happens in tv and movies, can(and have) happened in real life too.
