Great news-This last episode (The Red Tornado) was the best of the series.

The thing some are saying though, is that it's just 7 episodes. Not a full season. 7 just means 20 episode season, is that something you'd really expect from a show guaranteed to be renewed? Why not just pick up entire season at once? Hope that's not the case.

New show's usually have a slate of episodes at the start & if it goes well they tend to add more to the season. Doesn't mean a second season is guaranteed but at least it gives the fans hope there might be. I'm always leary of the big networks when it comes to renewing show's because they want big numbers.

              Meant to mention this.

The dynamic between Cat and Kara is tensly fun. When Kara screamed at Cat, it was a great scene...such great casting with this show. I hope it picks up more steam.

Yeah, especially with CBS. How I Met Your Mother had a long run with not the greatest rating, but The Good Wife seemed to always be on the bubble. I remember how disappointed I was at The Class for not making the CBS cut.

It may not make it, at least on CBS. I think it gets good enough ratings on CW to stay for a while. It may mean nothing and it just started late, so there wasn't room on the rest of the schedule for 2 more episodes, but who knows. I'm shocked that it ever made it to CBS and wasn't aired on CW. I doubt it gets cancelled, but could move to the CW.

But you never know if CW would want it. They already have Arrow,Flash,Legends of Tomorrow. Adding Supergirl as well, might be abit of an overload for them in terms of these types of shows.

I think the viewing public is the winner. This show keeps getting better and now we have the Supergirl/Martian Manhunter Hour.

Before the J'onn J'onzz reveal this was already an excellent episode.

I have NO idea about who Martian Manhunter as I never read comics as a kid. From the bit of research I did (Wikipedia ), it seemed he's a favorite of the Justice League...a sort of "poor man's" Superman.

I'm loving this show for so many reasons...I really hope to see more of Winn. Frankly, they nailed Melissa Benoist as Supergirl as her human moments with Jimmy, Winn and Cat are just awesome TV for me.

Next week appears to be intense so I'm ready!

I'm with you on general take on the show. This stuff is really good.

The Martian Manhunter stuff hit home with me because I was a fan of his early days in comics.
