Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
I'm 2 episodes behind. Should I watch last night's held back episode BEFORE I watch last weeks one since they are out of order?Comment

Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
I've watched the past 4 episodes tonight since the pilot.
I love the character development...really great show. I love the flashbacks in the episodesame too. I'm thoroughly enjoying it all.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
Rumors now of a crossover episode with The Flash to bolster the ratings. That will only happen if CBS decides to extend this season from 13 to 22 episodes. So Supergirl has a couple of hurdles to get to season 2.

Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
I love the show and have hopes for its continuation, but I have one silly thing that bothers me....
SpoilerHow the heck did she pierce her ears???????? LOLIn Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
I think she's great and the show is worthy of a renewal.
If her ears were previously pierced would they have been automatically healed upon her exposure to Earth's yellow sun?
If no, then could she reflect a low dosage of heat vision off a mirror to burn a small hole in her ear, in much the same way Superman shaves?Comment

It really is not that important. I just think its funny.I think she's great and the show is worthy of a renewal.

I don't go for the Superman thing because she doesn't have that much control of her powers yet. Maybe they were pierced before she left Krypton, that I could get on board with.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
That worries me if they have to use a gimmick to help the show.
I think if they give it time, it will take care of itself. I mean, it's a character not a lot of folks are familiar with. I like Jimmy Olsen's character (I know it's a black guy vs. a red-headed white dude) but I like his interactions with Kara), the nerd boy that likes her, her boss. The point that Supergirl is all powerful but ignorant and naive they actually have me believing so I'm enjoying the storyline that she uses the people in her life to learn how to harness this hero.
The people they cast for these roles are perfect I think...I hope they don't start going down the gimmick trail to try to boost ratings.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
I agree with you but a ratings boost might be needed to save this show. I'm not sure the crossover will do the trick.Comment

Save the show?

Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
Glad to hear it. I've looked at TvBytheNumbers for SuperGirl stats, but not recently. If they give it the highest rating that means it should be safe. But....Save the show?

They still haven't exercised the option for nine more episodes (13+9=22) and obviously haven't officially announced a season 2.
This is good news though.Comment

Supergirl (CBS TV Series)
No but since CW is partly owned by CBS(the other half WB who owns DC) they could probably easily do whatever crossover they want. I'm behind on Supergirl and only watched the pilot, but a Flash/Supergirl episode would be amazing
