Do we know if this movie will be a one and done, or will it stretch on until we hit the point of Episode 4?

To answer about the movie, we are getting more Anthology films. This is the first, and it takes place about 2 weeks before the events of A New Hope. There won't be a 'Rogue One 2'.
Other Anthony films are a young Han Solo Story in which they signed an actor for, a rumored Boba Fett or Bounty Hunter film, and they said there are several scripts for a possible Obi-Wan Story they are going through, with Ewen McGregor, and he is very eager to reprise his role. He is at the perfect age for the events leading up to A New Hope.

Good to know. I was specifically asking about Rogue One 2 (lol). Didn't know the timeline in relation to A New Hope.
I like Han and Boba and Obi, but the original EP 4-6 are Star Wars to me. I imagine they'll be interesting because they do have specific ties to the original trilogy, but as a side story to the main stuff.
So to see something that will be so directly related to that time period will be a treat. A big reason I loved EP 7 so much and disliked EP 1-3. It was the same universe, but too far from the events that made Star Wars for me.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Oh I knew you were asking about 2, lol, I was just rambling on. Love talking about Star Wars.
Grew up on the originals, and very fond of that time period too. Another rumor is, if this does well, which I believe it will, they may have one in between Empire and RotJ.

No word yet, but I am doing the same, even though I got lucky with top center row in an IMax due to a friend being in a wheelchair at the time.
I am going to go to the one downtown near me, next time with reserved seating for this.
