OK, you liked this one better than me, but how will you feel if this whole thing is dragged into next season? Don't you want a resolution to the fraud issue in the season finale?

I'm glad you liked it Jet, but just too much emotional chaos for me, and not enough solid legal reasoning. If Mike is on trial for not being a lawyer, why not show how good he is by beating the odds and prevailing by obtaining his own acquittal? His defense was using one witness to get sympathy from the juror and then using closing arguments to say how ashamed he was that he used that "sympathy tactic", all the while trying to get more sympathy from the jury.

And it really depends how they do it, I've never complained about them using the fraud storyline too much, I think that's what the show is about.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
I never did either but the show has positioned itself to resolve it, and I see no reason to prolong it past next week....at least the legal aspect of it. I'm sure there will be residual effects, including bad publicity for the firm and push back from characters like Rachel's dad.Comment

Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
I liked the episode because Mike's situation galvanized the "family", and by being a standup guy and taking his medicine he unquestionably earns the respect of sometimes skeptics like Louis and Jessica, and maybe later even Mr Zane.
I also like the fact that the threat of prosecution for Mike's circle of friends is gone, if not the business downside.
The show has just announced that there will be no significantSpoilertime jumpSpoilerin prison next seasonComment

Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
I'm just glad it's over. I'm kind of worried about what the writers will do without this crutch (they've leaned on it for 5 years) but at least now they have the creative space to do something else.NFL - Vikings

That being said I'm glad it's over too, but have no worries about the writers churning out some good stuff.Comment

Still don't see how its a crutch, its the whole premise of the show.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
