Even though this story line is in California, I would venture to guess that this is not the area where the pandemic began. I wonder if they'll show us how and where? Probably not, but I wouldn't mind seeing and knowing.
Past stories, wasn't it always man-made, bio-weaponry test for the military that went wrong. Damn, hope I wasn't sounding like Eugene. LOL

Honestly, the only thing that being on HBO would benefit would be the allowance of a certain character from the comics being accurate.

Curious what character are you talking about and him/her being accurate?

Have never read any of the comics

Meh.

Decent premiere I suppose, but nothing special, IMO. If it peels off and keeps even a fraction of TWD's viewers, it will last, even if it shouldn't.

Going to give it a fair shake and watch a few more episodes even though so far it was just "ok".
I'm sure the greatness I feel is TWD is causing some bias but we'll see.

Did we really have to go in the crack house 3 Xs? I guess nothing will ever beat the original first impression.

I really, really enjoyed that premier. Such a different feel to FTWD than its predecessor.
