Re: The Blacklist Season 3
You guys just reminded me I've missed the last two weeks. Oops. I'm definitely interested in seeing how the dynamic is without Lizzie. Hopefully tomorrow I can get some time to watch them.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: The Blacklist Season 3
They seem to be closing out season three with a focus on Alexander KirkSpoiler(the final two episodes of the season are "Alexander Kirk" and "Alexander Kirk: Conclusion". Kirk will be an old nemesis of Red who shows up in season 4.
I think Liz will be "in memoriam" until sometime later in season 4.Comment

Re: The Blacklist Season 3
Decent episode, but you probably liked this one better than me. I'm growing weary of Solomon and the horseshoe he's got stuck up his so and so. He needs to be dropped out of an airplane too.
The news of a probable Blacklist spinoff starring Ryan Eggold reprising his Tom character and the fact that the recent writing has diminished the chemistry between the couple has me at the point of not missing Tom leaving the show. Having said that I will watch the spinoff.
Spoilerjust a guess, but with Famke Janssen signed on to play the female lead, it would make sense that the spinoff will basically be Scottie as the female Red right? Would be cool if they became connected shows with crossoversWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: The Blacklist Season 3
I'm curious what this spinoff is supposed to be like, I'll have to spoiler my guess because I'm not sure it ruins anything from tonights episode:

Another rumor out there is that Famke Janssen will play Tom's mother...Yes she's twenty years older than Ryan Eggold.Comment

Re: The Blacklist Season 3
Very good episode with very little Red. Next the season finale.
I'm sold on the spinoff. There is a lot of chemistry between Tom and Mommy, but I don't know how long the truth can be withheld from her.
SpoilerIF YOU THOUGHT LIZ'S DEATH WAS SHOCKING JUST YOU WAIT

Re: The Blacklist Season 3
Tom did surprise me when he shot Solomon, but then he only shoots once? He doesn't put one in his head?
Red shoots someone last week to get a meeting, but now he is fine working with them?

More bullets? It's not like Red hasn't already killed a number of Scottie's subordinates including the guy he polished off that made him hungry.

They didn't need them to get the money? What about the optical scan? Alexander Kirk is the main objective and Scottie is an indispensable asset.

Probably because Solomon is suppose to be in the spinoff, and Tom's blast might not have been a kill shot.

In a real situation, someone like Red and Tom kill them once they get Kirk's name. Scottie, Solomon, that woman, etc they are all dead. Tom only shoots Solomon once and not a kill shot to the head and then leaves him there to get away.
Red and Tom aren't supposed to be the type of people who just start working with people that just killed the only person they love.
I know it is setting up the spin-off, but it hurts Blacklist the way they created the spin-off.Comment

Re: The Blacklist Season 3
I can see why Red would have a temporary "detente" sort of relationship with Scottie, as his "allegiances" are usually in flux...
But there's really no reason that Tom wouldn't go for the killshot, with regard to Solomon...Comment

Re: The Blacklist Season 3
I mean we could talk about Red and Tom having no use for Scottie but someone who is probably less then a tier under Red as a worldwide criminal is an asset.
And killing Scottie and obliterating the rest of her team is still on the table after Kirk is disposed of.SpoilerBut what I'm hearing is that Kirk is a major storyline in season 4.
