Another very good episode last night, Scottie in the early scene with the guy talking about the ransom money she was paying him and then switching it up taking his brother and saying he was going to pay her money now was very Red like...the way she was talking and handling things was nice.

That is exactly my thoughts on that scene, too.

I hear what you're saying, but even if the writers miscalculated a little or a lot on this one, this will all come out in the wash. (just my opinion)

What I'm interested in is the coordination between the two shows next year, particularly if Kirk is still in play. The Scottie-Tom relationship is supposed to be similar to Red-Liz.

Are some of you now thinking Liz is actually dead?

The answer to the last question is no.

You would think she would be cashing in on her chips to go on the talk show circuit and discuss why a leading actress left a top rated show.

Megan has been as quiet as a church mouse and so has NBC.

I think this Kirk paid off some of Reds close people on the team(Mr.Kaplan, Dr, Nick) to keep Liz alive.

That's my theory and this should be a heckuva season finale.

          More Red please.

When they decided that they wanted the actor who plays Solomon in the spin-off, it did force some way out of character moments for a lot of the players in the show. When I first heard about the spin-off, my first thought was, "how are they going to let this character live after what he did to Dembe, and his involvement in the Liz scenario. It's not great storytelling here, but it is what it is.

No way do I think Liz is dead...first off, Meghan Boone continues to be in the credits. I expect that Dr. Kaplan is behind this...notice she had disappeared from the show since that episode (although it does appear she is in the finale).

Well, I'm pretty sure NBC used "from the makers of Blacklist", "from the producers of Blacklist" and "if you like Blacklist" already, so...

Yeah I think she's OK. They never did follow up on Red and Kaplan's meeting, in which the doctor said he didn't want to die.

I just assumed he didn't actually want to kill Solomon with the shot; simply to cause great pain, but that probably doesn't work considering he went to kill Scottie.

At any rate, I'm excited that Solomon is certainly still alive; he's probably been my favorite character on the show besides Red.

I like the last episode, aka spinoff showcase...Interesting to see where this all goes and how much the two shows intertwine.

Solomon is such a good character. He and Red are very funny to me. I was glad when we did not see him actually dead. He will probably be super understanding on why Tom shot him too (Assuming he continues to work with the merc group).

Just saw where the spin-off won't happen until mid-season. Probably means a little more Scottie on The Blacklist.

                              My guess?

Jansen's eventual exit is prob gonna dovetail nicely with Boone's return...

I'm very confused by this spin-off business. Are those involved with the spin-off not going to appear in The Blacklist?
