Not a fan at all. I just kept waiting for something else to happen. Nope. Good grief what a dud.

Now that I've seen both from start to finish, I feel confident in saying I enjoyed Season 1 more and thought it was better overall. I found myself caring about and wanting more of the "western" depicted in the police station standoff episode, the woods hideout episode, etc than the philosophical and metaphoric, which is what the show ended up being.

It left a lot to be desired action wise, but it gave closure to every storyline. Mike Milligan kind of gets

A lot of these shows these days have the big episode as one or two episodes before the finale, then the finale ties up all of the loose ends. I knew once the shootout at the motel took place last week that this was it, that that would be the signature scene of season 2. I'm not really surprised that nothing big happened with

It wasn't quite the finale I was expecting, but I thought it ended nicely. Really, really enjoyed the season.

I agree on Dunst, I thought she was excellent.

Oh well, I was "close, but no cigar" on the Malvo:

Still not sure how Malvo and Lou "knew" each other from the "Massacre in Sioux Falls", but whateves...

Finale felt more like an "Extended Epilogue" than an episode, but that's what I expected after last week's tour de force...

Kirsten Dunst in the back of the prowler, FTW...

Dunst was so good I even enjoyed her rambling in the back seat about her personal "search" or whatever. "People are dead Peggy".

The Milligan/Gerhart henchman scene had me on the edge of my seat, despite knowing the probable outcome. Milligan being insistent on his cruelty theme was chilling.

Sometimes your best episode isn't the finale (Whoever Did This, four episodes before The Sopranos season 4 finale), but it doesn't mean it's not good.

Don't want to keep "Fargo Score" but season two is my clear favorite-let's agree that so far the franchise is great. Can't wait for 3.

Great second season, unfortunately the third season won't arrive until 2017. It will be set in 2010, four years after season 1.

It was an epilogue of sorts. All great stories have it. Maybe they could have made a 90 min. episode with more action in the first 30 and then do the epilogue portion, but it has to be done.

I was in the camp where I was okay with the initial UFO display as it was then explained or explained away (as they all are), but showing up at the climactic gun battle was too much. I also thought it took away from the overall story and left season 1 without question the better of the 2 after that. However, I think Dunst silenced a lot of critics with her acting. Her matter of fact display when they first went to the cabin might have been the most memorable. Hey...good thing her and the butcher didn't have kids! Eyhe?! Ted Danson had a great line too in his stand off with Dod at Ed's house.

Dod: Or maybe he's inside and you think I'm stupid.
Danson: Son, I could fill a steamer trunk with the amount of stupid I think you are....

Patrick Wilson is an extremely likable actor with whom you can side very easily. Offerman was a welcome addition to the cast and played his role stupendously.

Somebody mentioned earlier that Hahnzee is Malvo theory, but Malvo is too polished in all circles which takes a knack and a lifetime to perfect, so didn't see that. If you look at the pictures for the actor who plays Hahnzee, he seems to have that demeanor constantly... scary dude.

I'm not one to read all of the behind the scenes stuff on a TV show, so just wondering if anyone knows why the last season was called "Palindrome". Interesting title.

Oh, and not to forget Bokeem Woodbine who was written as very sublime. Kind of a villian that you find yourself rooting for.

Again....season one I'd have to give an A+ and season two gets an A (points deducted for the UFO).

Same for me only the reverse, but we're not too far off. It's not like the difference between Wentworth and Orange Is The New Black. (plug)

The UFO thing just wasn't a big deal. Hanzee's transformation was weird but possible, with drastic plastic surgery, aging and weight gain.

But, seriously, it was out of place.

The UFO thing was a) a shoutout to a mildly-related historical occurrence (which I love), and b) a reminder that this is a black comedy series. The "this is a true story" tagline at the beginning of each episode is a tongue-in-cheek shoutout to the audience that we shouldn't take this show too seriously.
