To me, it still doesn't make sense how he fell into Glenn in the first place.

The only other scene in this series that I recall being analyzed as much as this dumpster scene was the van that went off the bridge with Daryl & Carol lol.

So my conclusion using that logic is Glenn = alive.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)

I thought they could've scaled along the top of the fence to the building they were right next to. That fence didn't look sturdy but...

Why don't more people get up high, anyway? I'd make the sickest treehouse.

Maybe Nick was halfway to being a zombie. He damn near looked like one before he blew his face out. Maybe that would "protect" Glenn from walkers staying on the scent.

Digging deep for an explanation. I'm sure it'll just be, "because we could!" But it's fun to try.

I'd put money on the gunshots from Rick's fight with the wolves distracting the majority of the walker horde. Glenn will then manage to escape the handful of walkers who remain chewing on Nick. I'm in the acceptance phase of this fiasco.

But in the logic of the show to this point, Glenn would be shredded apart instantly but you know, plot armor and all.

As far as the stair case, I thought the same as well, but they didn't know there were walkers over the fence until they went to climb it, right?

’The Walking Dead’ is stuck in a damned if they do, damned if they don’t situation with Glenn. However, there is one way to solve it.

Would be an interesting way to go along with Glenn.

It's just so freaking stupid if the character isn't dead in this example. Even if they are distracted...it is just so utterly ridiculous that TWD didn't eat him.

If Glenn is alive, which with the way this show has been sans the first 2-3 seasons, Glenn and the rest of the core cast have become untouchable, then I will definitely feel disappointed. Not because I didn't like Glenn as a character, because I think he is one of the stronger cast members, but because it gives me the feeling that they have no real intention of ending this thing anytime soon, and at this point this continuous plot loop of: Find new dwelling, people become skeptical of Rick, **** hits fan, people trust Rick again is getting so played out.

And i feel this way even after enjoying the first 3 episodes of this season. The last two were the strongest in some time, but at this point, I really have no clue what the end game is anymore.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)

There isn't really an endgame. I guess they all die somehow (and it would probably be all together not one by one) or they find a cure/safety of some sort.

Plus, from a business standpoint, it's a cash cow.

I think of TWD like a multiplayer FPS. Same thing every game, kill more then you're killed. The plot doesn't advance, but it's fun every time. TWD isn't that great of a TV show as far as substance, but it has this addictive trait that you just have to know what's going to happen next even if you know what that will probably be. It's not True Detective where every line of dialogue is dissected and graded, but more just mindless fun with just enough character development to keep us hooked.

I found the fact that Glen has never killed a human to be shocking. Makes sense why he couldn't kill Nick now.

At this point I think it's clear he isn't dead. It's just the "how?" that were left wondering.

If I'm not mistaken, was it not agreed upon That comic spoilers do not constitute a spoiler tag for the show? As they have done many things different.

Can you let us know (like Brandwin does) when it's a comic spoiler instead of just a spoiler of the show. That wasn't huge but would have preferred not to have seen it.

After rewatching the episode yesterday, it didn't look like anyone was on top of Glenn during that scene... there's no way he's alive and if he is he won't be for long.

I think he absolutely survived but was bitten, he'll reappear for his goodbyes then die a proper death.

Nate (is that right? Having a brain fart) It looked like he fell crosswise on Glen. Kind of like a human + mark. It seems obvious to me that they were eating him and not Glen. Otherwise the intestines were coming out of Glens chest. I just didn't seem right. But I think, like was said on the post above, he does get bit, somehow escapes no matter how ludicrous, and says his goodbyes while probably doing a heroic thing.
