Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)

Really loved everything about this episode, couldnt help but the think of the Governor when Rick was talking to the people of Alexandria about attacking Neegans crew. Im glad Morgan is there to be I guess the non violent person when trying to solve problems, despite being in the minority.

Wasnt surprised that Heath struggled to kill the guy in his sleep and Glenn had to step in, but the whole fight I thought was handled well, except when Maggie and Carol are captured.

That Tara-Gabriel-Jesus scene I thought was hilarious. You had Tara ask Gabriel the Priest a question about lying, and Jesus is behind him giving advice as well,Jesus is growing on me as a character.

Towards the end of the episode, we see Morgan building something, anyone else think it could be a cage just like that Eastman had?

Yeah, I think Morgan is trying to build an actual jail cell, at least thats what I got out of that scene with him welding those bars. You can also see hes building a cinder block wall in the room behind him as well.

I don't think the guy Rick and Daryl had will be worth to the Saviors what Maggie and Carol are to Ricks group. I think he is just a single soldier in a large group, others can do what he does. Maggie and Carol are large parts of Ricks group in what they can do and can convince others to do.

Basically, I don't think their single hostage is a bargaining chip in Neegan's eyes.

It's kinda cool if Morgan is building a jail cell as a tip of the cap to Eastman. Could be useful in the future.

This show seemed really clean. I didn't notice any stupidity or terrible plot devices to get someone into or out of trouble.
Agreed. This was pretty straight forward and kept me engaged .

I agree but they don't know Maggie and Carol's standing within the group. But I imagine their hostage is probably a nobody.

Rick and the group have to leverage the situation as best as possible or his women are gonna meet an untimely end. With it being Glenn's pregnant wife that's going to add an extra emotional element to it. Not that they don't love Carol too which is probably what all that mother talk was about as well as her words to Maggie but Maggie is more valuable. Dunno about her cooking though...

I just read an article about this exact same thing.
There is a scientist from the east coast that says the Walking Dead would be extinct by now. He says all the nuclear power plants in the world would have over heated by now and the planet would be unhabitable. He says the reactors would have exploded and blew a large portion of the EARTH up and the air would not be breathable.

Sorry, you are about the 10th person in this thread that has used the whole "yeah well its a show about Zombies" answer when it comes to things that are unreal or not scientific in this show.
Nothing against you or your post, just getting tired of that same answer when people try to talk about this show on his forum.

Its like every time someone brings up a debate about things that happen on this show. Someone responds that it is a show about zombies, why are you debating about how realistic it is?
We get that, it doesn't mean things cannot bug us or we cannot debate about how things went down in a particular scene or episode.

Its like everyone is talking about how much they enjoyed this last episode. I did too.
But one thing that really bugged my is they did not recon at all on the Saviors compound. Which goes against everything they have done on this show. Why didn't Darryl and Rick stake out the place for a few days at least? Why didn't they monitor who come and left their compound? If they would have they would have been a lot more prepared and may have not lost the two women to the saviors.

Understand we're talking about fiction. I would just like to see some mention of the nuclear dilemma mentioned at some point.

                            And I totally agree.
Like I said I read an article that was basically making fun of all the crap the humans go through on the Walking Dead when in reality they would all be dead by now because of a nuclear meltdown.
With that being said would there would be no show if they addressed the Nuclear plants.
Maybe Rick and his crew should travel the world saving the Nuke Plants somehow??? lol

They did scope it out a bit...maybe not over a few days, but they did scope it out (they showed up on the outskirts in the middle of the day, didn't make their move till night).

Maybe they didn't have a few days...after all, the Saviors were holding a member of Hilltop hostage.

Either way, the last four episodes of this season should reek of epicness.
