They have the power of the gods and no one wants to **** with that.

That's all it really is from what I gathered. A lot of people are very religious in the show and you don't want to be the King that tests the wrath of something more powerful. The High Sparrow's are appointed messengers of that higher power.

He definitely won't be walking about as if nothing ever happened.

I think you're headed in the right direction Dook. He may not be as benevolent, may actually have a mean streak I'm him. More than anything previously seen.

Can't wait to find out. Like everyone else has said, glad they didn't drag out Snow 2.0

I don't normally jump for joy when watching shows, but when I do, it's because Hodor is really Wylis/Willis.

Cot'damn what an episode! Ned, Benjen & Lyana -- was the other guy Brandon? Whuuuuttttt. Tyrion gaining new dragon friends, looking all mean and cute at the same time? Ramsay sending his father his regards and feeding his dogs? Euron Greyjoy being all "I AM the Drowned God." Melisandre looking all sexy again? Ghost looking like the best dog ever?

I think my biggest question out of this episode is: What's Theon trying to accomplish by going home (Pyke)?

                And, oh yeah...

He's a defeated man. Probably wants to be with his people to regain some confidence.

How convenient he's set to return just as the iron born are choosing a new King. I wonder how his arrival might conflict things.

I feel that he thinks it'll be more of a punishment for him to return home and face his father (who he doesn't know is dead) and the rest of his family with the fact he failed miserably in taking Winterfell. Plus all the humiliation of the Ramsay stuff.

Idk.. maybe he knew Jon would kill him and he just wanted to live, but the scene in the forest made it seem like him going home was the ultimate punishment, even above death.

I'm sure him coming back to the Iron Islands will shake up the Kingsmoot.

I took home to mean Winterfell. Even though he's snapped out of it a little, he was still completely brainwashed by Ramsey into being Reek. Plus, in the previews before the season started I could've sworn I saw a scene with Ramsey torturing him again.

Ramsay could very well catch him on his way back to the Iron Islands, but I assumed Theon didn't mean he was returning to Winterfell. If he was choosing death between Jon and Ramsay, I'm sure he'd pick Jon. It seemed like Theon finally broke out of the "Reek" stage when he helped Sansa escape.

I didn't watch the next episode's sneak peek, but I know Ramsay wanted to invade Castle Black and kill Jon Snow, and even said so before stabbing his dad. Maybe he runs into Theon trying to get home on his way north.

If you just go by various internet sites, Ramsay is already way past Joffrey, and I agree.

Yeah, Ramsay is much more evil than Joffrey ever was. Joffrey was just an insufferable little prick with power.
