Anybody who ranks AOTC higher than anything in the Star Wars saga can't be taken seriously. I'm sorry....that movie is straight up garbage.

I think AOTC is very entertaining. The chase scene, the story of the clones, Jango, the droid factory and arena battle, and the first time we ever see Yoda fight. The movie was just hampered by the Anakin and Padme drama on Naboo. It is last on my rankings of SW but the more I think about TLJ the more I want to make it last.

The HORRIBLE acting of Hayden Christenson and the terrible love story totally ruined the second prequel for me.

I will say this. The only prequel I liked was the first one The phantom Menace and even then it didn’t have an interesting plot and still wasn’t a great movie. A trade dispute? It was just a set up film for the rest. But I liked it more because the characters were cool. Young Anakin, Qui Gon Jin, Queen Amidala, Darth Maul. Jar jar was annoying. I didn’t like Ewen McGregor version of Obi Wan either.

I enjoyed Ewen McGregor.....and the evolution of the upbeat character in Ep1 to a much more pensive character by the end of Ep3 that more resembled the Obi-Wan we knew from IV. But if the character didn't work for you, I can totally understand a more negative outlook on the trilogy.

Hmm, I liked the Movie. Thought Kylo Ren did a fantastic job acting and Luke/Rey was awesome as well.

I never like Finn so that part of the movie was meh. Poe was awesome in the beginning but overtime he became annoying.

Watched the original trilogy last night (yep all three films back to back to back) the original cuts in 4:3 letterbox on DVD.

Glorious. Just glorious. Lucas should be strung up by his buster browns for ****ing with the original cuts.

                  Ugh!!!!!

Will they please release the original cuts on BD already!!!!

I never understood the whole issue with the original and special editions. People hate on the special editions so much even though just about all the changes make the movie much better. But I seem to be like the 1% that fells that way but yeah I don't get it.

He is about the only good thing about the PT. Him and the soundtrack ever thing else with episode 1 and 2 just sucked sucked and sucked. Episode 3 is good but still very flawed.

It does not fit. Simple as that. I saw these as a kid in 1977, 1980 and 1983. All that crappy CGI takes away from the time capsule.

It just does not fit. You don’t go and add crap to albums made 20-30 years ago.

It is just not cool nor very good. You have a vision in that moment of time. You capture it. It becomes permanent.

You go back and dick around with it......it cheapens your vision. I get that he could not fulfill the entire vision because of the technology at the time. So he CGI's the living hell out of the prequels......but before that he goes and screws around with his original movies.

Call me old school.....but I do not like the new special editions at all. They added nothing but wonky out of place CGI.

Finally saw the movie this past Friday. I thought it was awesome and moved everything into a direction that felt fresh and original to the movies.

I haven't decided if I want to go through all the negative impressions, but I enjoyed it more than TFA. It has some problems, but to me they are minor things and nothing that would break the universe or my fandom.

Don't go through the negatives. It's not enjoyable at all. If you enjoyed the movie then that's all that matters.

I like TFA a little more better pacing but they are both great movies and this movie don't deserve the hate it is getting.

I tried talking to a family member about it today at our family Christmas get together and I think broaching the subject of politics would have been more successful. He said he signed a petition to remove it from official canon? For ****s sake, really?

All I can say is that I left the theater completely remembering why I love this series so damn much. That last shot really hit home to me.

Original cuts are on DVD? Thought the closest we had were the original VHS releases in 1990? Hard to keep this stuff straight.
