The show is really hitting it's stride. I actually felt sorry for Rhoades (Giamatti) when he said his hot wife could do better.

Finally watched the last episode, Victory Lap, I CAN'T STANF Rhodes wife Wendy. We all know she's smart and I feel like she thinks she's better than everyone cause she can read people so easily.

She can be such an asset to her husband, yet she belittles him so much.

Beyond that, seeing Axe lose the the casino, yea!!!! I love see him outwit other people yet at the same time, I love it when he gets outwitted cause you don't see that much.

In what world do you live in that women should simply prop their husbands up? He betrayed her trust in the worst way he could. He stole her PRIVATE, PRIVILEGED information to have any case at all, because he put nailing someone before his marriage.

That thing is broken because of him.

I completely agree with independence. Rhodes doesn't need his wife to be successful nor does she need him to be successful. I just hate the fact that she thinks she's so much smarter than everyone else.

There's something special about a power couple, like Clare and Frank Underwood from House of Cards. I can I see Rhodes and Wendy in the same manner. Frank and Clare know they need each other to get to what their goals are. Wendy in Billions just seems to be all about herself.

What chuck did was very wrong on many levels, as a husband and district attorney he abused his power and broke his wife's trust, but he's been trying to atone for it while Wendy is out there getting laid.

That might be an occupational hazard though (psychiatrist), at least in the sense that she might come off like that. I don't think she's condescending, she's just too uptight.

Given their sexual play, you wonder if he wants to be belittled-I'm saying that only half jokingly.

Also:Toby really laid down by ordering mutton, unless he's planning something.

Wasn't Rhoades the one who opened the door for an open relationship?-at worse it was a mutual agreement. Wendy just went with the flow.

Axe and Lara end the show with Godfather references but given Apollina's fate it's curious why Axe went with "thunderbolt".

Taylor is a must have character on this show.

I binged season 1 a month or so ago and then caught up on season 2 as well. This show has kept me intrigued on a week-to-week basis, and I'm glad it's already been renewed for a third season.

I honestly can't say which side I pull for as it changes from week-to-week it seems. That definitely makes for a great TV show!

I side with Axe over Chuck, but appreciate Paul Giamatti's superb performance.

SIDE-NOTE: I'm ashamed to admit that I only found out yesterday that Giamatti's father was the former baseball commissioner (Bart). I still remember the news of his shocking death at 51, only days after banishing Pete Rose from baseball.

That was a cold move...but you have to wonder what's going to happen with Wendy now. Couldn't she be implicated in this too?
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."
