And it seems they got a little bit of money out of it. Funerals weren't cheap, even in the 80's.Comment

I thought Elizabeth and Paige were walking around for a little too long.

It sucks we only have two episodes left this season (including tonight)!

Re: The Americans - Season 4 (premieres 3/16)
Wonder if a "Stan gets captured or killed" scenario is remotely possible for the season finale? The creators said act III of III will be the final two seasons. Will something be shaken up big time leading into that final act?Comment

After what I thought was a kinda weak last couple episodes, that finale was just about perfection. Wow. Powerful scenes.
This season started out spectacular, slowed down a bit but the finale was fantastic. Season as a whole was really good. I'd prefer a bit more action. This was definitely a story season.Comment

Re: The Americans - Season 4 (premieres 3/16)
Hmmmm...Loved the two episodes before this one, including the scene with "Stan The Mooch" showing up for dinner a couple of shows back, while Pastor Tim finds out he's FBI and Elizabeth showing skills in front of Paige. The only sequences where The Americans slows down for me a bit are the Philip-Kimmie scenes. But I agree in part...great finale tonight.
Last night they showed a very human side of the spy versus spy thing with Stan and Dennis ("You want a Coke?") obviously sympathetic toward Williams unfortunate situation. The initial chase scene that ended in a self inflicted bio weapon to the hand would have been better for me if I hadn't seen last week's previews.
Stan seemed proud of his boy for getting to first base with Paige. He should be, because the kid is out of his league.
It's going to be fun watching Phillip's Russian offspring looking for his travel agent father.Comment
