As far as this show goes, just watched the trailer... yah this looks awesome. I think you guys have me convinced.
A little off topic about another documentary series, 'Making a Murderer'... I said the same thing about the State's prosecuting attorney. He kept pushing the angle of some sex fueled creepy motive with zero evidence, I looked to my GF, and said, "I would not be shocked if he was caught out for some sex scandal or perverted ****"... and then I get to the episode, where homie was exposed for being a perverted ****.

Sometimes, it is way obvious. Wolves in sheep's clothing.

As for this, next episode is tomorrow evening correct? Stoked!

The herse driver seemed sketchy. He was driving with an expired inspection sticker. Date on the sticker was 11/13 and this was set in October 2014.

Also, interesting on Bodie's statement. He said he was alone, when he wasn't.

I rewatched and I forgot about the motorcyclist that pulled up next to Naz after he fled the scene.

Something not right about that moment. And it's convenient because it could be almost anyone behind the bike.

I don't know the direction the series is headed, but if it's what I think, it'll try to keep us guessing. So maybe we find out someone owns a bike while a second person borrowed a friend's. Something like that.

I think we can also assume everyone is fair game, even the basketball players.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

1 more thing I noticed: The CSU techs were talking to the desk sarge about chain of evidence and apparently the cops broke it/didn't follow it correctly. Just another thing to keep an eye on.

Turturro is gold in this role. No coincidence they picked a Brooklyn guy to play that character.

Yep, the step-dad of the victim is a bit creepy.

Good episode. Enjoyed the pacing, as well as the acting. Good impression so far with how they wrote the prosecutor as well.

Next episode looks to hit on some '"controversial", notes, and appears to take off and pick up steam with the NY tabloids, etc..

Seen him in Boardwalk Empire as goofy Mickey Doyle and his role on House Of Cards was just plain weird. He just gives off a creepy, goofy, weird vibe.

After the whole DA detective scene, I am quite sure they are going to find a 3rd person's blood at the crime scene.
Just the way she said she wanted to wait until the blood work came back to prosecute and he said he didn't want to wait. Pretty sure it is going to come back to bite him.
And you can tell he doesn't think that Naz did it, but he has too much evidence against him.
                    Great show!

Completely agreed here. I am also glad the prosecutor is written like she is so far. I hate shows with the 'jump the gun, convict, convict, convict' types.

Nope. As soon as I seen that, I said, "oh ****". One of my CO's (Commanding Officers) when I did contract work was a top CO at Riker's back in the day. That place is no joke.

Anybody else suspicious of his brother?

To expand. The guy we met was talkative with Naz. And while I get that his brother is charged with homicide, he seems aloof now. Like he's carrying a secret.

Yep. I am suspicious of everyone. Everyone that is not the lawyers, detective, police officers on the scene, in booking, and his parents are suspects to me.

I have a feeling it is going to be one of the one's you least expect out of it, and in a 'holy ****' way.
