Definitely more hyped after the initial reviews from the screening a week ago. Gonna try to catch it on Wednesday when it opens.

This was a fun time!! Connects dots in the MCU and it’s pretty much what you would expect from a Marvel movie.

Larson is great as Captain Marvel as well as Jackson. Ben Mendelsohn steals every scene he’s in and the cat, wow.

CG was mostly good, some spots was a little iffy but enjoyed the action. I put the movie on the same level as a Antman 1 and Dr. Strange and that’s pretty much what I expected.

The nostalgia wasn’t in your face too much which I appreciated.

Of course two end credit scenes, the first is important, the other you can skip if you don’t want to waste time.

If you thought you were hyped for Endgame, this will take it to another level.

Can’t wait for next month!!!!

This was awesome. Marvel does it again man. They did a great job filling in some blanks from the MCU, finding out what happened to Fury’s eye, how the Fury/Coulson relationship came about. The post credit scene... man what a great time.

Going tomorrow to see it in IMAX. Definitely looking forward to it. Ive gotten my wife so wrapped up in the MCU movies that she said we absolutely need to go see it this weekend. I told her you dont have to tell me twice.

Do they address why Fury didn't call them in for the attack on NY, since clearly this movie happens way before that time? Throughout developing the Avengers team, Fury was touting them as the only line of defense, but this connection to the Kree contrasts that.

I'm sure they do, since that's been the biggest question since A)this movie's setting was announced and B) the end of Infinity War.

Yes they do address that at the end of the film. I can’t give any hints as to why because it would be spoilers for events in the movie, but it is revealed what that was all about and the origin of the pager.

Caught this in imax as well. I think that’s the best way to watch a movie film period. I already preordered end game tickets.

Also the deaging of Sam Jackson was amazing. Who needs plastic surgery in Hollywood if they can do it this good

Yes Cap took the Tesseract with him into the ocean when he crashed in his first movie, but if you recall, Howard Stark and the crew recovered the Tesseract from the ocean as they were searching for Cap. That put it in the possession of SHIELD or at least the SSR before they became SHIELD. Fast forward to 1995. As Doctor Lawson, Mar-Vell had the Tesseract on loan from SHIELD to conduct her experiments trying to create a hyper drive engine. Which would explain why Fury had government clearance to access the facility she was working out of on earth, because she was working with SHIELD property. Obviously they didn’t know she was actually an alien and had in fact taken the Tesseract off world to her lab up in orbit.

Saw the movie Thursday night and thought it was pretty good not my favorite MCU movie but like top 10 for sure. Thought Brie was great in the role hit it out of the park had that like swag that some one who is extremely powerful should have. Loved the cat and the Stan Lee stuff was great made me want to cry and there was some stuff in the movie that surprised me a lot. Even more Hyped for Ends game now. Also thought Brie and SLJ had great chemistry threw out the movie.
