Looks like Hulu is the next to drop the regional sports channels.

I currently have YouTube TV and was going to switch to Hulu Live whenever hockey and baseball season came back around. I guess that won't be the case. Now the only other option is AT&T TV or back to cable/satellite.

Why can't these companies offer the RSN's as an add on package? I would be happy to pay $5 to $10 for package to get those channels.

They don't want to allow their channels as add on services. It cuts down on their revenue. The regionals want money from every subscriber.

If they lose enough revenue, maybe they will give in.

I am hoping they are seeing the error of their ways. It looks like the only streaming service that offers Local RSNs is AT&T TV Now.

Hopefully by the time hockey, baseball, and basketball season rolls around, they will see how much money they are losing and just give in.

Definitely. I was ready to switch to YouTube next month but can't do without the RSN, specifically during basketball.

Because Sinclair Sports, the company that has purchased most of the regional networks, sucks.

Wife might kill me but I am seriously considering going back to a combo of Hulu Prime and Netflix and just dropping YTTV.

I'm out end of month. Going CBS all access and disney+....sports i want to see is all on my antenna

I wish I could do that... my hockey team (the Hurricanes) and my baseball team (the Braves) both play on the RSN's. So I will either have to switch to ATT TV Now or hope that YTTV is able to get a contract with Sinclair before the seasons start. If I didn't live so close to either of them, I would buy the NHL/MLB online TV package but it says they will be blacked out in my area, so that's a bust.

IF you are a golf fan you will be limited to Saturday/Sunday only coverage on CBS so far as the Masters goes. ESPN gets Thursday/Friday.

Any other YTTVers having issues tonight?

Watching the World Series, I could tell the resolution wasn't right. When I checked, the Auto resolution was defaulting to 480p. I had to manually change it to 720p (or 1080p for stations that support it).

Weird. Just checked my other TV and it's fine on it. Both are using a Roku Premiere. No idea why it's defaulting to 480p on my other TV.

We're contemplating switching our Verizon cable service to internet only, as no one watches cable or use home phone. I want the Gigabit/highest capable internet.

Any good recommendations on a Wi-Fi 6 router $180 and under?

I mainly want to future proof. If I'm deciding to buy a router instead of continuing to rent one from Fios, I rather future proof it now. We don't have a big home, so not concerned about square footage coverage. But I want to hit higher speeds consistently since we have multiple teens who spend 12-15+ hours a day doing homework and mostly playing games online. They had issues with internet dropping and lagging.

Most of the time, we have 15-16+ devices connected to Wi-Fi at once. Besides potentially the PS5, a new phone I'm getting, and a new device my stepson has, I don't think we have any other Wi-Fi 6 capable devices. I would be willing spend upwards of $225 since buying own router saves money over time and offers better performance. I wouldn't mind getting a Wi-Fi 5 router. We jist constantly have many devices connected at once, but I just want good enough speeds so that everyone has a great online experience
