Damn that's awesome for you, maybe the satellite moved and you can't get line of sight anymore or something. It says I'm ineligible, so that sucks.

I'm still eligible for DTV, the satellite is still on my house. They send me offers all the time, I'm in the suburbs. Idk. I put in my work address too and it also would've let me sign up that way too and the tenant next door to me has DTV in their restaurant.

They used to limit it to multi-dwelling units or people who have line of sight issues. So your address had to be tagged like that unless they changed it.

This season they sent out a notice in your bill that a lot of people were getting it for free this season without even having to call about it. It was very wide spread, so they could be trying to keep people through the end of the year.

I'll probably stay with DTV through the end of the year and then move to Youtube.

I'm adding the extra sports package as well just for RedZone for the season, then I'll remove it.

            YYTV is the best.
I'm leaning this route as well for the NFL after trying RedZone for free this weekend.

Im doing AT&T TV Now, mainly because it's the only streaming service that does 5.1 for live content. I canceled DirecTV and am paying $150 to get out of my contract. I just can't pay $180 for TV.

Decided to somewhat "cut the cord". I'm still with a service provider, but they've moved from regular digital cable to IPTV.

I'm hoping things work out well here. Has always been something I've never been a big fan of (relying solely on internet connection to get TV).

Streaming is one thing, but having every channel 24/7 reliant on a stable internet connection and strong signal, hopefully don't run into any issues.

You shouldn't have any problems. Never experienced any in my area anyway.

When I stream, the apps run fine and everything for the most part, and quality looks like a regular tv channel, but having everything reliant on internet will be a change.

Won't know until I'm actually using it to see if I even like it. Only bothering with it because they managed to offer about 15% cheaper than my current bill while throwing in all the new equipment for free (or so they claim, I have a feeling I'm gonna get a surprise next bill)

Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                        Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
                        Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

We were able to have access to HBO Go/MAX this weekend for free. Suffice to say we enjoyed the selection and what we ultimately watched more than most of Netflix in recent memory and will have to get on that train.

IPTV so far has been good (knock on wood, dont wanna jinx it). Has held up way better than I thought.

One change I'd make is to have more features on it. Theres so much customization and other things they could do, but dont implement.

I'd love to use YTTV but for what it costs I come out better using this streaming service from a friend of mine. It's 20 bucks/month and get channels across the globe that I'll never watch. Other services like YTTV seem more "stable" though. Seems my local CBS news station often buffers using his streaming platform. It's a lot like OlogyTV.

One question about YTTV...if I subscribe (I live in a suburb of Charlotte, NC) and I go to my parents (in SC where YTTV isn't currently an option) can I still watch it on my phone?
