Thanks. I was able for find the list of shows you can't get right on the Netflix site. I watch a bunch of stuff on there I might try the downgraded service for a month to see.

I thought one of the sides would have cried uncle too, and totally agree. Time to go shopping for a change I guess, I hate that because I like YTTV.

If you have a T-Mobile subscription, you get MLB-TV for free, so check that out if you can.

I've heard that the company who bought T-Mobile the Dish Network has no customer service at all. Have any problems yet?

I've had zero issues with MLB.tv today and I got it free through T-Mobile. Been watching games across my computer, TV, and phone all day.

I'm not with T-Mobile anymore, but when I did MLB-TV worked pretty well.

You have to use the "T-Mobile Tuesdays app".

Major League Baseball is back and T-Mobile is offering a free season-long MLB.TV subscription. Find out how to redeem this perk.

I did that for mlb.tv. Can you access MLB Network through that as well?

EDIT: Can't access it through that. Whenever I try through either my phone or my computer to watch MLB Network, it's asking for my pay-TV credentials. So if you can actually watch through the mlb.tv subscription, I have no idea how

I get what you're asking now. No, you cannot watch MLB Network live via MLB.tv without a cable subscription. You can watch older episodes, MLBN specials, etc. after they air though.

Man they are making it insanely difficult to watch their League branded network

I am so frustrated. Every option that has MLB Network has something else to sacrifice. The prices that the streaming services are asking, I might as well go back to satellite, at least I'd get everything I want.

To me MLB.TV would be perfect if it included MLB Network and the ability to watch road games of local teams.

Obviously the satellite/cable/streaming companies pay to have this stuff on their services, but eventually we need to get to the point where us paying to watch games/programs with commercials is enough without having to pay for channels we never watch. There needs to be a correction.

                                Re: Cord cutting

I made it until the June trying to live without the MLB Channel. As being completely happy with YTTV the past 3 years, it was disappointing that MLB was dropped.

I settled on Fubo. The cost compared to YTTV is higher and it doesn't carry Turner programming (so it was challenging to catch the end of the NBA Eastern Finals); however, it has MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA channels and the RSNs to watch the Nuggets and Avalanche.

The picture quality is consistently grainy and its rewind isn't as good as YTTV. With that, I often wonder if I shouldn't just go back to satellite. I would be paying the same for Dish as I am Fubo, quality would be better, and I would get all the channels that I would want.

Cord-cutting as a sports fan is quite the adventure.
