Has anyone read any information regarding how the ATT / Discovery deal is going to effect HBO Max and Discovery+? Will they remain two separate services or merge into one? Don't currently have HBO Max, but my wife loves Discovery+ and for $8 (no commercials), its a great deal.

Comcast here is entering not worth it territory at 174-190$ a month even with bundles. I have no problem going streaming tbh, I'm just not sure about the 1.2TB data cap. We already get close with our current setup.

I have Comcast and I pay 190 for internet and tv just went up like another 20 in the last few months. I have never hit the 1.2 TB cap and it used to be 1 TB up untill I think like a year ago.

Are you locked into Comcast? Any other competition? If not, does Comcast offer an internet-only plan with no data caps? If so, it my still be cheaper in the long run.

Yeah, data caps are so bad, I could never go back.

Just AT&T here and I really don't want a DSL line in the house tbh.

I don't use much outside of Twitch and the occasional download of a new game via Steam tbh. Brother does graphic design as well as watching streams etc. Between the two of us and other stuff we're averaging around 800-900GB. We've never hit the cap itself.

Question, does it make sense to buy a 4k fire stick if I dont have YTTV in 4k? That add on package for w/e they have.

Do you have any of the other services that offer 4K content no extra charge?

I have the YTTV 4K package for now, but I doubt I'll be keeping it much longer.

On the other hand, Disney+ and HBO Max both have a good amount of 4K offerings.
