        Re: Cord cutting

We cut the cord 2 years ago this month and have used PSVue and DTVNow (have jumped between the 2 over the last 2 years). We have been saving $80 a month from what we had before with cable and we haven't missed anything that cable used to offer and have everything we want now. So cutting the cord has saved us $1,920 over the last 2 years

No, braves are on local fox, college football on CBS and watch ESPN and even have goalline. Only thing that's a challenge are the Eagles games since I am nit in their market.

I still can't scheme a way to get the Rockie games, as I am in their market. I had read PSVue will be adding regional sports networks, if that is the case that problem is solved.

You ever consider biting the bullet and getting the Sunday Ticket? I know, pretty expensive to basically watch one team.

Vue has RSN, that's how I watch the Braves. It's with the core package, or at least it is with mine.

I have redzone for the NFL

Heck, you're in good shape, Man! I need to look into Vue again, last time I tried it didn't have the RSN.

I am ill by the amount of money we waste with satellite. I love the idea of saving the money you do a year; that would pay for our yearly spring training jaunt.

I have the Core plan with Vue (2nd tier at $45/month) and it does not have Root Sports in Denver. I'm not sure about the higher priced tiers.

I just canceled my Directv and while I was talking to the guy to cancel it he offered me 3 free months of Directv Now. So I got the $50 package free for 3 months.

I have to say I am impressed for the most part. I've been watching a lot of baseball, and I've had Vue and Youtube TV for a short time and both were terrible with live baseball. Super juddery, low resolution, but DTV Now is perfect cable quality. Only issue I've had is occasionally it buffers and when it does it tends to keep doing it for a while.

I got a brand new Roku Stick + and I'm using that, but I have heard the Amazon Fire tv sticks run DTV Now much better. So I went ahead and ordered their 4K model, which was on sale for $44.

Will take back the Roku when that gets here Tuesday. Hopefully it helps with the buffering.

Does DirecTV Now have a DVR yet. That's what has me leaning towards Youtube soon.

That is really weird as I had the exact opposite thing happen to me.
I had Directv Now for about 3 months and streaming sports on it was horrible.
It would pause and stutter all the time, I couldn't take it anymore so I decided to try PS Vue.
The Vue runs fantastic when watching all TV including sports!
I have the exact same wifi set up and the PSVue is so much better for me.

Well. guys. I had to ditch DirecTV Now. After raving about it, that very night it started to buffer really bad. There were times it went out for 10 minutes at a time. It then continued all through the next day and night.

So after trying multiple times to cut the cord, I just wasn't able to get solid quality streaming with any service I tried. So I went back to Spectrum. I have my internet through them so I figured I'd pay a littler more for quality, which is very important to me. Especially with live sports, which seemed impossible for me to stream well.

Good luck to all with cutting the cord.
