Got an email yesterday that I had been selected for early access to the multiview feature on YTTV. It's come in handy for March Madness. Will be nice for football in the fall too.

I got the same email and I’ve been loving it.

If they can do this for all sports, like MLB, NBA and Football, I’ll be in Heaven.

I can fast forward through commercials on the YTTV recorded programs. I read you can't do that with Hulu you have to watch the commercials. That true?

Yeah you could fast forward through the DVR Cloud recordings but I didn’t even deal with it that much because of the bad interface and the force field that shielded recordings from being efficiently erased. We only got rid of Uverse a couple of months ago and only had Hulu Live for a month-It expired a couple of weeks ago. We’re in no hurry to find an alternative since we can get locals NBC & CBS with Peacock and Paramount Plus respectively And have every other streaming service under the Sun.

If it was up to me I would drop everything since I get everything OTA with my $15 antenna but the wife would kill me. I have ways to watch the few shows I really need to see.

This is what we do. We get every thing OTA, then my wife has a Discovery+ subscription, and we get Netflix, MLS, and MLB for free through T-Mobile. So the kids are happy as well. When we really want other cable channels (FS1, etc.), we'll do a month of Sling. We have Sling right now for the WBC.

How much is Youtube tv now? 75 a month? I can remember I tried a trail to see how it was for a week or something for free like 5 years ago and it was only 35 at the time. Its hard because internet its self is not cheap. I have cable only because blackouts are a thing. If blackouts where not a thing I wouldn't have cable has I only have it because of sports. My bill just went up another 15 and it went up 13 just like 1-2 months before that. I have Comcast and now with internet and tv I am paying 220 a month. At the end of last year I was paying 192.

After all the promos have dropped I am now paying Spectrum $120 a month with a landline phone. YouTube TV and Hulu with Disney Plus on a $3 a month promo costs me $82 bucks before the coming increase. So I'm paying over $200 a month. Can't by without the internet today though so I am pretty much locked in now to that kind of bill. Couple years back I was paying around $130.

I'd be surprised if it's available unless you have the new NFL Sunday Ticket option.

Has anyone tried the new Netflix with ads for like 7 bucks or so? I pay like 17 bucks now and if there weren't any shows eliminated from this tier and you just have to watch a commercial or three I might be interested. Might pick up another service or two with the savings.

Major League Baseball is back and T-Mobile is offering a free season-long MLB.TV subscription. Find out how to redeem this perk.

Free MLB.tv for T-Mobile subscribers. Once you redeem it, you can watch MLB.tv wherever you want (Roku, etc.). Not limited to phone only viewing.

It should pop up tomorrow if you use the "T-Mobile Tuesday" app. I'm on Metro and I got it last year and will get it this year. I could watch games on the phone, cast them to my TV, etc.

                              Was really nice.

Netflix screws with their plans because they downgrade the quality. You only get 720p at best instead of getting the best quality your internet can handle.

I would probably subscribe at least for a few months if they removed that stupid rule.
