Was anybody surprised when it was reveled that he had chained Kaplan up? I doubt it, that was a stone cold mortal lock.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I'm wondering the reason why, though?

I wonder if someone is paying him.

            Can't miss episode next week.

Does this signal the end of the Alex Kirk era?

I hope so-it's been fun but it's time for him to go.

Appears to me this show is losing steam on OS, I wonder if that is true across the board.

I'm still ALL IN, as is everyone I know, who also follows the show...

Interesting episode, in that it had some deliberate laughs and nary a sighting of the current plight of Mr. Kaplan...

Me and the wife as well. Love this show. It's the only one we have to watch the night it's on.

I'm afraid to read the thread as I'm still a few episodes behind, but something I've always wondered, why do they call her "Mr Kaplan"?

I may have actually asked the same thing before but I can't remember, apologies if I've already done so . Is it some sort of disguise? Is it to throw us off that he/she is Liz's real mom/dad?

It's never been stated, but one theory is that the name comes from the "secret agent that never existed" in the popular Cary Grant movie North By Nortwest. The film is about an innocent advertising executive (Grant) who is mistaken for a made up spy who is called George Kaplan. The film is based on accounts of fictional spies that the Allies created to throw the Germans off. It makes sense because Mr Kaplan is essentially a mirage in that film and The Blacklist.

Same here, just seems like less discussion than previous threads/years,

I'd give Susan Bloomaert an Emmy for her acting this year for Supporting Actress.

I did like the Aram and Agent Navabi show this week.

We finally see an ending to the Kirk story line.

I'm assuming the break last until after the holidays till January?

Are we sure the Kirk story line is over? I mean I hope it is, but I feel like they're not done with it by a long shot.

I'm not 100% sure of it, but usually, the fall finale break ends a story arch. I think I read somewhere online he signed on for 8 episodes.
