    Re: The Blacklist Season 4

The power of Red! Aceveda (character on The Shield) is a great cast as future puppet president.

Navabi gets a lot of latitude from Harold, but she'll settle down.

Like George Constanza, Aram now has "hand".

Marlon Trout- One boy, two fish names. Goodbye Marlon. haha, Red.

Less Tom Keen and perhaps a bit of a hint of a spinoff: Now that I'm a dad, I would want to know who my dad is.

More Samar and Aram(not a bad thing) and less Liz and Red.

      More Red, please.

I think we will get more Liz too, since, she is back in action.

Looks like we have a blacklist episode next week instead of who's your daddy stuff.

Mr. Kaplan must still be making her way up that road...

Welcome return of a favorite...Red's dialog, stellar as always...

I have known the character actor with the Ben Franklin glasses from this past episode since his days of playing on MASH for one episode(he played a soldier who took it out on Sidney Freedman for going back to the front) and playing Danny the caddy in Caddyshack.

His name is Michael O'Keefe and he has been character acting since those days.

A film he was in as a teenager called "The Great Santini" is memorable to me, to this day...

            Worth the watch, IMHO...

I like Red-Liz but the mystery of their convoluted relationship makes me wonder if the writers ever knew where they were going with it.

I always wonder about that kind of stuff as well. Like, when they made the show did they have an idea where they were going with it?

I like to think they did, but something else tells me they still yet have no idea and are just feeling it out.

Strange that Dembe tells Liz that all Red cares about is Agnes and herself, but he did show quite a bit of empathy for the children that worked in Iniko's diamond mines.

One of the objectives of the diamond mine ruse was to find a new cleaner for Mr Kaplan. Red found two of them but Dembe did not like the callousness of the search, and the disrespect shown Kate (M.K). I erased the episode but don't the new cleaners work for a police department?

I think the new cleaners are independent contractors whose main client in the NYPD, but I could be wrong...

The Dembe stuff was quite interesting...he seems to be having a "crisis of conscious" re: Red and the fact that he told Liz about it, may have been him admitting as much...

This was one of the few episodes where I was trying to figure out what correlation there was between what Red was doing vs what the FBI was doing.

This leads me to believe that Mr. Kaplan will be returning soon. Also, there seems to be some trust issues going on between Dembe and Red as Dembe is starting to question more.

I am glad the series is going back to what made in strong in the first place, solving the blacklister mysteries.

Dembe was definitely desperate when he told Liz about Mr Kaplan's "death".

Is Red's current state of mind the result of feeling guilty about killing her?

I know those scenes are usually brief but the "baby bonding" could be cut even shorter IMO.

Iniko and underling went down too easy, but I understand they were setups and not formidable foes. Still, Iniko's security force gets an F-.

A sizable ratings drop has me somewhat concerned over the fate of the show. Even if the prospects are good for another season I'd like to see The Blacklist hang around longer. Two recent articles address the probabilities:
