Has there been any indication if this is going to be apart of the DCEU? I read an article suggesting they do a soft reboot, pretend MoS, BvS and JL didn't happen in the DCEU and go from there.

Side question that I've always wondered, if DC wanted to compete with Marvel in a cinematic universe, why would they make Batman at the end of his career? That seems to skip over a lot of cool origin stuff they could've done with Robin and such. Has anyone heard their reasoning?

I believe it's stand alone like Nolans but I'm not sure. Kinda want it to be a stand alone, I find Batman more interesting when he goes against his own rouges gallery.

Being that DC/WB mainly wants to keep Batman in the movies even though the TV shows have been trying as best they can Titans with having Bruce this season and the Arrowverse dropping Bruce Wayne hints here and there and now the Batwoman show. I want as much Batman out of this film as possible fit in as many Rogues as they can as long as it fits and adapt a cool storyline from the comics or not just make it good.

I don't mind an older Batman. We get to see his Rogues already developed. I don't really want to see an Origin story it also I guess lets them make a prequel down the line to explain everything later. Unfortunately DC just hasn't been good at executing it.

Really hard to get excited for this. Dark knight trilogy was so good and DC movies have not been that good and the casting on this seems like a bad joke. I will just wait for a trailer has I can tell if I am going to like a movie or not from trailers like 98% of the time.

well, if Hill is out as the Riddler and the Penguin, and though Jason Alexander wants to be the Penguin, I'd rather see Octavia Spencer completely flip the script as the Penguin.

Oh yea there's definitely no need for another origin story. I thought the Arkham games did a really good job, no real origin story but still young and has his rogue gallery.

What are you talking about? A joke? Be specific because Pattinson, Wright and Dano are acting BEAST. If you’re basing this on Twilight then you're massively uneducated on what Pattinson can do.

I don’t have to defend Wright or Dano, their work speaks for itself.

I am uneducated Mike only seeing him in one of the Twilight sequels with my niece and others. I know he was nominated for several "Razzies" but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's still not bad to throw a legitimate star in the mix regardless of his or her level of acting talent.
