No. Daredevil has the distinct advantage of everyone wearing masks for the most part and allowing people who are pros step in and do some of the crazier scenes.
In this a lot of things feel a bit off.
The series of fights at the end of 5 or 6 especially. Pole-arm in slow motion, and then lets just start running for no reason, oh hey a random room full of scaffolding, etc.
Enjoying it, but probably my least favorite and I enjoyed the others (maybe put it on par w/ the slow parts of the other series, maybe ahead of the final act of Luke Cage).Comment

My girl and I finished episode 5 and we are really liking it...for her to like it says something cause she's not a really big tv person, just really picks and chooses what she is going to watch. Watched the first three episodes, I like the dark tone and the story is intriguing but the choreograph fighting is pretty bad, I hope the fighting gets better later in the season.

So after finishing up this season, I would have to rank the shows: 1. Daredevil 2. Jessica Jones 3. Iron Fist 4. Luke Cage. All of the hero characters are great, IMO, but I feel like the latter two series had more missteps in terms of the plotting.
It's going to be crazy to see the pace of the storytelling for The Defenders with it only having 8 episodes in the season.Jordan Mychal Lemos
