    Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

Having Russell in 3/4 straight seasons ruined it. First two were fine, but they killed his third chance on that horrible season. That's why I hated newbies mixed with vets. They literally threw the challenge and ruined all their games just to vote him out.

As for Cirie, she was part of that all girls alliance that dominated fans vs faves. And first season she was one of those people who you wonder why they're even on Survivor since she's afraid of everything outdoors, but managed to survive all that and has huge social game and is still not seen as a big threat despite playing 4 times

Just overall bad episode. Not show wise, I mean gameplay wise. Loved one challenge has been a staple on Survivor forever, yet people still don't know how to properly use it for strategy? Take Michaela and she's happy and will trust you. Don't take her and she hates you.

And leaving 3 alliance members together with the person whose most mad at not being picked...real smart.

And then Sierra giving Sarah the advantage after being voted out....she flat out said she hoped Sarah voted with her...votes were 6-3, you know she didn't! Why not give it to Brad? You know, Brad...the guy she's actually aligned with?

All this setting up for Sarah winning? I sure hope not. As crazy as season started, that'd be horrible ending. She's not a game changer and was only on the season because tony was a returnee.

Is the legacy advantage really just an immunity idol?

Isn't there one floating out there that lets someone delete a vote?

I think that went out with Debbie. I don't remember her being able to pass it on anyway.

I also think it was dumb of Sierra to give Sara the legacy advantage. It was also dumb of her to tell Sara about it. I mean, that's basically giving her a reason to vote you out. She should have said, if I'm still in the game with six left, I'll play this for you (if she could, I'm not sure). If not, and I'm voted out, I'm going to give it to Brad, Tai or even Andrea... anyone except for the person she was telling about it. Damn.

Exactly. Why tell someone "hey, I have this advantage in the game. If you vote me out I'll give it to you".

Debbie used her advantage already in the Ozzy vote. It made no difference. That's a secret power they need to just abandon. It's been around multiple seasons and it's never made an impact at all. Person who had it I think has been voted out during or the tribal after using it.

Reminds me of the PCH commercials where someone gets $5K a week for life, and then $5K after that to the person of their choosing. Don't tell anyone lol, that's a death sentence, as soon as the next person in line finds out you're done for

Oh yeah, I forgot all about Debbie using it.

Anyway, I'm beginning to think this season is a two-horse race between Andrea and Sarah. I think Cirie may have an outside chance, but I think they would be stupid to bring her to the finals.

Now, who I hope will win is much different. I'm rooting for either Michaela or Tai. Aubry is up there, as well. I was a big fan of hers in her first season (she got screwed btw), but she gets so little screen time in this season that sometimes I forget she's even on it. Hell, I never thought I would say it, but I wouldn't mind seeing Brad Culpepper win either.

Brad is actually the person I most wanna see win.
                  My order goes something like:
                  Brad,Troyzan,Cirie,Tai,Andrea,Michaela,Aubry,Sarah

                    Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

lol, crazy scenario I thought of. Lets say at F6 we have Sarah,Tai,Troyzan and 3 other people.

Sarah has to use her idol at F6. One of those 3 other people wins immunity. Tai and Troyzan play their hidden idols for themselves. Tai also then plays the other hidden idol for one of the other 2 remaining people. So by default, the only person without an idol is gone. All outside of Tai playing both idols at this tribal I could see happening at the F6.

Even if Tai doesn't play both idols, it'd still be just between 2 people going home. They can't have a rock draw because 4 of the 6 people are immune. Either they vote out one of those 2 people or stay at tribal until they come to a unanimous decision.

                      Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

Looks like that F6 scenario might actually happen. In a season with such crazy tribals, including the 2nd one tonight, would only be fitting. Though unfortunately this does mean Sarah is going to F5 and probably winning.

I can't believe everything that happened in this episode happened. I for sure thought Brad/Tai were gone. Brad in first vote, Tai in the second. The moment Sarah took Tais vote, I thought that was an automatic "play your idol" moment. And the second he didn't play it, I thought he was gonna go down with the stupidest move in Survivor history, and that Cirie might've pulled off yet another in her long line of crazy moves.

Me too. I have always thought that, overall, Russell Hantz was the best survivor player. Cirie's social game, however, cannot be matched by anyone. She's like black widow. Doesn't make too much noise, and then slits your throat.

She has the best social game in Survivor history. Like I said before, 4 times playing, pulled off huge moves, and STILL not seen as a threat and everyone loves her. If she ever makes it to the end, she's winning. Even in FvF, if they had F3 like they all assumed instead of the twist of a F2, she might've actually won.

Overall in Survivor, Russell is best strategic player, Cirie best social player, undecided on best comp player(Colby,Ozzy,Terry in top 3), Parv the best overall player.

That would be an interesting debate. I don't remember Parv being great at challenges. Was there a player that was solid in all three phases? Maybe Yul? The only reason Yul didn't win as much was because Ozzy was a juggernaut that season. Also, for competitive you have to throw in Mike from Blue vs. White vs. No Collar. Won five out of six of the final immunity challenges while also finding the idol that saved him on the one he didn't win.

Heck no. He's good though. I don't remember a team throwing a challenge to get Rob off because they were so scared of him.
