Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
That would be an interesting debate. I don't remember Parv being great at challenges. Was there a player that was solid in all three phases? Maybe Yul? The only reason Yul didn't win as much was because Ozzy was a juggernaut that season. Also, for competitive you have to throw in Mike from Blue vs. White vs. No Collar. Won five out of six of the final immunity challenges while also finding the idol that saved him on the one he didn't win.
It's hard finding the triple threat. Can win comps, great strategic game and great social game. Parvati no doubt is close to if not top of list. Maybe there's other contenders, but she's first that came to mind.
Others like a Sandra, Russell, Rob among others fit 2/3 of the criterias, but I wouldn't give them all 3 really.
No, but he did have a tribe casted to be in love with him lol. He's up there as one of best regardless.Comment

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
Is the finale on Sunday or is it next Wednesday?
The order of who I hope for the wins
Aubry
Tai
Brad
Cirie
Troyzan
Sarah
Who I think will win
Sarah
Cirie
Brad
Tai
Aubry
Troyzan
If Cirie makes it to the end I feel like she's winning because she has such a good social game. Then again if someone does bring her to the end, then they probably deserve to lose.

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
Maybe I'm alone on this but the first couple times there was a scramble at tribal Council this season with everyone getting up and whispering in ears it was entertainment. This week felt like a cluster ****. They shouldn't allow that ****. Whispering and planning should be kept at camp. Once you get to tribal council everything needs to be spoken in the wide open. You got something to say, out with the dirty laundry.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
I like the crazy scramblings that go on and love the "fan blindside"(though most seem to hate it badly) but I still wanna know what's going on. Explanations on why everything happened would be nice. And if they release it in secret scenes...let non USA people watch it too!
That's one thing big brother does better than Survivor is filling people in on why the vote went one way, especially if it's double eviction where viewers got no idea why things happened the way they did since it was a live show scramble.Comment

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
I'm guessing Sandra was pissed at Cirie, so she voted out Cirie's closest ally, making it a blindside by stealing Tai's vote after telling Tai she was using the extra vote on Michaela and Tai relayed that info to the minority - hence Tai does not play an idol.Comment

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
In a season with Malcolm,Ozzy,Cirie,Tony,Sandra,JT among others....Sarah walks out the winner
Sure, she did play a much better game than her first time around, but I still don't like her being the winner of the season. Brad got Russell/Colby treatment here. Tribal life was basically like Russell, and comp wise he was like Colby, but when it came down to it in the finals, he lost just like them despite all having legitimate claims to win.
Just sucks how you can win so many immunities and it means absolutely nothing come final 3. Not just this season but in Survivor history.
Past 3 seasons now I've been underwhelmed by winner. Invisible Michelle wins her season, Adam beats Ken(another deserving person who won multiple immunities) and now this. But this season I've been most disappointed in winner vs who I wanted to win that was in the F3.
And I can't believe that crazy scenario in F6 actually happened! To Cirie of all people though! I still like Tai, but I just hate his gameplay. He's ruined both seasons he was on after having such a great thing early on both times! He's the reason why Malcolm and Cirie were gone this season and probably why Brad didn't win either.Comment

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
If he took Tai to the F3, he prob would've won(I agree with him though about the whole "reunion show jury votes", since people have much diff opinions now vs July-August when it was filmed).
Outside of that, don't know what else he could've done. Like Russell, that aggressive/bullying like attitude is how he played the game and if not for it, probably wouldn't have gotten as far.
On that note though, they FINALLY answered the F3 tiebreaker question. That was one of biggest moment of episode for me because I've wondered it for several years now. I wanna see it happen one season now for that sole reason! How would they know it's a tie before leaving the island? Would they tip off the jury that it's a tie? Or if they ask the loser in the F3 to vote, then they know who won(something no jury has known for sure in the past)Comment

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers
Game wise it didn't work, but it's one that viewers often enjoy much better. And also the comp win stat, seeing people like Ozzy,Colby,Terry and now Brad get 5 wins and not win the season, just sucks to see that. Although we did see Tom and Mike who also had 5 end up winning the season. But seems like more times than not, even if you are great at comps, it has very little weight in the finals compared to other aspects.
Even during this final tribal when talking about the "outplay" aspect, challenge wins seemed to be briefly mentioned and even camp life briefly mentioned and it always seemed to just revolve around popularity contest/social connections.
Either way, next month I'm gonna start to watch Survivor Cook Islands over the summer, all the way up to the days leading into next seasons premiere(Survivor HHH as I'm calling it). Even though it was a F3, it had one of best F2(since 3rd person doesn't compare to the F2 that season), not to mention the amount of people who eventually returned from that season and games they played was great.Last edited by Majingir; 05-25-2017, 01:13 AM.Comment
