Here's a leaked shot from the ComicCon footage shown.

Don't know if it's this scene or elsewhere, but one of the things in the footage was Venom eating a guy's head. Footage also confirms that he won't have the spider emblem.

The voice is going to take some getting used to, wasn't expecting entire conversations with it, was kind of hard to understand at the end when it's more than a phrase or two.

Some nice iconic shots, hope it all comes together well. I have my doubts.

They might edit the voice before final release, the same happened with his Bane voice from The Dark Knight Returns. They had to alter the voice some because it was hard to make out.

Regarding the trailer, shows a little too much, I knew i shouldn't have watched it. I already know i'm seeing the movie, so i'm not sure why i watched the new trailer.

This is my favorite review of it so far:

“Social embargo for #Venom⁠ ⁠ is up. I talk about this a lot in my review but this is a movie that somehow slipped through a wormhole from 2004. That's my biggest take. It's a movie that spilled from the pre-MCU era through a crack in time and space.

It's...not a complete disaster? At least I was never mad watching it? But it is an excruciatingly surreal experience. The humor, the story beats, everything right down to the Eminem theme song feels like it emerged Kimmy Schmidt style from a sealed off early 00s bunker.

Think Affleck Daredevil. Think Ang Lee Hulk. Think Halle Berry Catwoman. That's...I mean, that's really all there is to be said, I think. It's absolutely bizarre.

Anyway, your mileage is really, really going to vary on this one. There are genuinely some echos of clever ideas but...man. If there's one superhero franchise that's having a killer couple years, it's Spider-Man. No matter how you slice it, Venom is a major non sequitur.”
