I don't know who Sony studios uses for their cgi animation but I hate the look of it. It's too 'shiny', it just looks 'too' cgi if that makes sense. All the other Marvel studio films don't look like this. It's only the Sony films that have their cgi łook odd to me.

But other than that it looks pretty good.

The shiny makes it looks less than "real". If I didn't know Venom was part of the Marvel universe, I would think this is just another horror movie.

Can only be a plus as he generally enhances every project he touches. He was great in Peaky Blinders.

Yeah I agree, perhaps even too glossy.

As far as the trailer, I loved it. I am a big Venom guy, read all the comics in the 90's and continue to read to this day with the new arc.

I'm excited for the film, it still hurts there is no Spider-man as he is the biggest reason for the creation of Venom. However, lets see what happens.

That isn't completely confirmed. There's a STRONG rumor that Tom Holland will be in the movie as Peter Parker, a small chance that Spider-Man could show up as well.

He’s rumored to be in it, but there’s no confirmation that I’ve seen. Assume they’ll save it for the final trailer if he is.

Yeah the rumor is that he's the main antagonist, and he's being played by Woody Harrelson.

Can't we just look at imdb and check? In this day & age where everyone has smart phones & loose lips I'm surprised this hasn't been confirmed yet.
