Couldn't be on network television anyway. It's funny because Married With Children was in many ways a parody of a sitcom, but nowadays they wouldn't be allowed to be as subtle and subversive with it. It would have to be driven home every two seconds that you are not supposed to like these people even in an ironic way.

Watching the Roseanne reboot, I'm seeing the Last Man Standing comparisons.

But meh, I like to let people say what they wanna say, if it's funny it's funny, this wasn't bad

also, old Becky somehow looks exactly the same

and I liked Jackie, she was just as neurotic as I remember

CW announcing abunch of renewals. Basically every show is renewed minus iZombie, Valor, Life Sentence and The 100. All the DC shows are safe and so far, long running one like Arrow(entering S7) hasn't been announced as it's final season.

Like mentioned before, they're adding Sunday night to their schedule, so that's 2-3 new timeslost they'll have.

With that Monday 9pm timeslot likely open(iZombie/Valor so far not being renewed), I hope they move Arrow to Monday at 9pm, have Legends on Tuesday at 9pm, and then Black Lightning can get Arrows Thursday timeslot.

I'm both glad they'll be back and worried that they'll continue to decline the longer they go on.

Even if it's declining, still nice to have these characters around. Even if show gets to point one day where it's near unwatchable (which I doubt it'll happen), at least having people like Oliver available for their annual crossovers would be worth it.

Speaking of crossovers, after seeing reviews from the one this past season, I hope they make the future ones similar to this where it was basically a 4 part movie (and overall got better reviews than the Justice League movie) rather than an enemy who happened to be on 3/4 of the shows where you could clearly tell which episode was which show.

                1. Couldn't agree more.
                2. Agreed. Crisis on Earth X worked really well and they should stick with that format.

I'll have to give this a look. If you get BBC America it premieres Sunday night. Minutes ago the series was renewed for a second season.

This made me look something up because I've heard a show needs 6 seasons to reach syndication, but locally I've had Mom syndicated since last year. Idunno if I'm the only one who thought a show needed 6 seasons, but I was surprised to learn the requisite is 88 episodes to be syndicated. This may not be useful to anyone lol but I learned something

I thought it was a 100 episode threshold that was the ideal although not necessary for syndication but I see that number has gone to 88. I'm sure there will be further changes down the line given the ten and thirteen episode seasons that are popping up particularly on cable shows.

I was surprised Murphy Brown disappointed in syndication given it's big first run ratings and the fact they are doing a reboot.

Are you sure it is even 88? I don't watch it but the Comedy Network here in Canada show Fresh Off The Boat and according to wiki have had 79 episodes to date.

                            That's what the wiki says

In recent years, the 100-episode milestone for syndication has been lowered to 88 episodes, which is typically reached after four seasons.
                            but I also see this:

A show usually enters off-network syndication when it has built up about four seasons' worth or between 80 and 100 episodes, though for some genres the number could be as low as 65. Successful shows in syndication can cover production costs and make a profit, even if the first run of the show was not profitable.
                            seems a little gray

88 is the general # now, although more is better.

It's really just when someone wants to buy the rights and when they want to sell them.

Not airing until summer like usual, but some news released about Celebrity Family Feud. One episode will be "Kardashian vs West". From what Steve Harvey said, Kanye is his fave Celebrity Family Feud contestant ever (apparently he's a big fan of the show and wanted to be on).

He obviously can't say who won or anything, but based on his comments about how certain people did, sounds like
