Good old fashion BB fight! Reminded me slightly of the BB6 fight.

Best news of the night....BB Canada is returning(originally put on Hiatus)!


As for the battleback comp, I'm guessing they're shaking it up by doing it bracket style. Instead of 1st evicted vs 2nd where winner plays 3rd evicted and winner of that plays 4th evicted, we'll probably see something like 1st evicted vs 4th evicted and 2nd vs 3rd. So finals will be Cody vs Cameron or Dom.

Interesting switch up for the Battle Back challenge.

Their motto is "expect the unexpected", but ironically they do have too many predictable things on BB(like how HGs can easily predict double evictions days in advance), so it's nice they aren't just going the exact same route with battle back.

I found it interesting they all pretty much voted for Paul to represent the house. Wouldn't that also mean he's the biggest current threat?

Or just that they think he's the leader of everything. Could end up being like that Survivor season where Rob just did whatever he wanted because all the new players got to the point where they were basically playing for him.

I really don't like when they let someone back in the house after they've been voted out. Only time I'd be ok with it is if they made it clear from the beginning to everybody that the first few people have a chance to come back in the house cause when they do it like they do it seems like their way of trying to get certain people back in the house. I don't mind the way Survivor did it with Exile Island cause it was known ahead of time....other than that if you get voted out of the game you should be out, and really didn't like that the four voted out seem to be able to talk a little bit with each other about what was going on in the house.

Redemption Island on survivor I felt really only worked on the first blood VS water season since it was vets VS their family and you could swap places with your voted out family member. All others didn't work so great.

Buyback could be worse. Like on bb13 when they had similar thing as this season buyback where the most recent evictee faced winner of the past evicted hgs where winner got back in. Except that season, hgs on sideline could help who they wanted and it became 11 on 1 in favour of Brendon, which obviously was part of the horribly rigged Rachel winning season.

BBCan had horrible buyback too. 1st season they had fan voted buyback where a fan fave returned in final 5. And last year they had 2 evicted hgs who got to watch muted live feeds together the entire time and talk strategy the whole week. And house had to unanimously vote one back in, which led to the dominating alliance forcing everyone to bring back their member.

I was hoping the twist was that the selected member would have to play for a spot in the house or just let the person back in.

So if Paul lost, he went home or Cody comes in without a comp.


Glad Cody is back because the couple side of the house isn't there for the game, only there to get to jury.

Hopefully Alex actually has a brain, starting to doubt it with her buying Paul's stuff. Maybe they edited it out, but you would think she would recognize what he was doing.

Imagine if that twist did happen. House votes out someone who faces battleback winner for the spot in house. Loser is out, and winner not only gets in, but they're hoh.

So either someone you just voted out or voted out weeks ago is guaranteed to be hoh.

We're about a month into season and still not feeling it being so interesting. Somehow they need to give big brother new life because right now it's just people living in a house that are on tv 3 episodes a week.

The have nots are completely irrelevant. Have we ever seen it all season? No food comps, no scenes all season from the have not room. Just one of many reasons how the show is just lacking interest.

Just going back to my post last year ranking the seasons I've watched:
7(AS),8,12,10,5 as "top tier"
18,16,14,6,17,11 as "middle tier"
13,15,9 as "bottom tier"

Right now, I'd rank 19 in middle tier, somewhere around 11 and 17. Not better than 6,so it'd be bottom 3 of the middle tier for me.

I think it has to do with people not wanting to be on the show if they have to do that stuff. So the water it down, give a them a paid vacation and they agree to do it.

Go back to them having to win food to eat, have nots sucking, etc. Have to win stuff to have fun.

It's just let's have an easy paid summer and hopefully get famous game now.

That's what makes it bad though. Anyone would sign up for BB for a paid vacation with chance to win lots of money. Mostly real fans sign up who'd suck it up and deal with the slop, cold showers among other things because they love big brother.

Similarly with Survivor. Real fans will endure the elements, eating rice, coconuts, fish all month long. Fake fans just see chance to live on an island and win a million dollars. And we always see those types of people have hard time and voted out quick or just quit.
