Re: Big Brother 19
seriously I was so confused when she chose not to use the veto, I thought the jig was up and she & cody knew to make sure and pull Ramses off and put Paul up, then they just kinda sneak in "I'm keeping the nominations the same" with no real explanation other that a 3 second snip of Jess saying generic "don't want to upset the house" crap. I would also put up Paul. They knew he was doing this, so just use that. Say Paul we have heard some things that you are trying to keep him in the game, so we are going to use you as a pawn to make sure he goes home.
They wouldn't be attacking him, but I'm sure he would play it up that way. They could also get him trying to find out who gave them the info about the Josh plan. It was very obvious what was happening, so use it to split up the other group.
I don't have any info, but I suspect production is leading them to keep Paul in the game. They need air everything, all cameras, audio, DRs, etc so there is no secret intervention.

Re: Big Brother 19
lol, Kevins description of Ramses "the little kid with glasses". And his goodbye message later on....He's playing the most under the radar game of the season and if he makes it to the end, he's winning. Obviously he's not a fan and has never seen a single episode of BB before in his life(and probably never will), but he's still great on this season. Funny during his evictions too how formal he is with Julie during it all.
Too bad they weren't able to show everything that happened on BB. Some stuff happened earlier today that definitely is gonna be shown on Sunday...At least it better be or else BB editing really sucks.Comment

Re: Big Brother 19
So is the temptation theme officially dead?
Did the last punishment on the house ever happened? I haven't watched the eviction episode yet aside from the eviction which happened to be on at the bar I was at with CC lolComment

Re: Big Brother 19
The "punishment" is that HGs get opportunity to compete in a temptation comp where winner is immune for the week. Last place finisher becomes 3rd nominee. Competing is optional.
I wonder what happens if only 1 HG competes. Auto immunity and no punishment? This week at least if I were "Jody", I'd compete. Worst scenario, you use the hex on Thursday. Best scenario, one person wins the comp, one of them wins veto, save the hex for next week(the final week of the hex, meaning they can throw the hoh comp, be safe, and then both get to compete the following comp).
I'm surprised there's no DE next week. Given that Jessica has 2 evictions left to use the power, why not make next week a DE so you guarantee there'll be at least 1 eviction either way. The way things are going, this week will be pointless.Comment

Re: Big Brother 19
I really like Kevin, such a laid back and funny guy, I also really like Paul and wouldn't mind him winning. Only people I really don't care for is Josh..dude is psycho and Cody, now that I think about it Matt is a little annoying with his emotions. I think if Paul, Alex, Cody and Jessica had gotten together from the jump they could go through the rest of the house fairly easy.
SpoilerI wonder if Paul will put up Jess and Cody or let the temptation sway him, I think I'd still put them both up and take my chances on what the temptation is, my thought would be it's no way it can take them both off.Last edited by Sinner; 07-28-2017, 11:22 PM.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Big Brother 19
Paul screws up if he doesn't put both of them up. With the temptation comp, 1 can win safety, then the other wins veto. Then they keep their safety for another week.

Anyone seen the Raven info out there? Nothing game related, but CBS has definitely changed the edit.
SpoilerI stumbled upon #ravenexposedparty while reading some updates. Family is screwed up, looks like they are all grifters and trying to scam people out of money. She definitely isn't dying and at best she is really exaggerating her chronic disease. Her mother has been caught lying about how sick Raven is, while she has posts online showing she was fine at the time. Lots of info to read out there.
Not sure if the mother has screwed her up mentally or if Raven is in on the scams.Last edited by p_rushing; 07-29-2017, 02:36 PM.Comment

Re: Big Brother 19
With Mark safe, could be an interesting week. 1 of the 3 need to win veto, would say Elana, but don't think she would use it.
That then forces Paul to show his hand and put a low hanging member up. That would then break the group up.

Re: Big Brother 19
This cast is a bunch of morons. If I have to hear Matt say he'll do whatever the "team" wants, I'll scream. It's an individual game, but useless Matt and Raven don't realize that I guess. Paul is just stringing them all along to help his game while no one else is gunning for him but Cody and Jessica. Have any of them thought for a second why Cody wants them out so bad or just listening to what Paul tells them on why he wants them out?Comment

Re: Big Brother 19
Even though Paul is the one I want to win the most right now, that nomination ceremony was great. Just confused stares at Jody the whole time while they're smiling, but no power is played.
If Jody wins veto, that'd kill Paul's power. Putting up Elena in a non elimination week, so next week you have a solid 4 alliance VS the others.
I mentioned it before how this reminds me of survivor redemption Island with Paul playing role of Boston Rob. Cast set up to compliment him essentially. Don't know how true it is, but apparently Cody said he was cast specifically as the anti Paul guy. Given how most others are basically just his puppets, wouldn't surprise me if this is true.
BB isn't rigged, but it is almost like scripted reality. You can't influence what happens, but can steer things in one direction. By BB logic, Paul and Cody aren't winning though.Comment

If I was in the house I would have knocked Josh out by now. This dude drives me crazy and it's only 1 hr 3x a week for me. Not 24/7.

SpoilerRaven supposedly knows Paul, potentially through Victor. Again not dying, just a grifter.
Production can influence people by leading them to support Paul. When you have a bunch of people who only care about making jury, then it is easy to say you will get to jury if you align with Paul.

Yesterday was a bad day in the house. Wondering how it'll be aired on tv.

I have no doubt that they cast these people to help Paul.

If you cast non-fans who just care about money, they'll be persuaded easily. If you cast fans who want to win, they'll stick to their own instincts and use BB history to know how to approach certain situations.Comment
