Something else I've been wondering.

How are the upcoming X-Men titles going to be handled after this acquisition?

Gambit, Dark Phoenix, etc. If these still go as planned, then perhaps we could still get the current X-Men cast in the MCU and wouldn't have to recast very many roles.

I think those in motion will remain as-is, we get a stinger at the end of Avengers 3, and things are setup in 4 to integrate the universes - either as a reset or outright adding existing characters to the MCU.

Infinity Gauntlet comic spoilers + speculation

So with 3 maybe we'll have Thanos successful in wiping out half of the galaxy/universe, and then 4 is the proper Gauntlet story as the balance of our heroes eventually fix things, but not quite right, and 'mutation' becomes a thing.

Probably won't be any big announcements until Hall H in July at Comic Con, but bet they've been working on some of them for quite some time in the event this really did happen.

Finally got a chance to see it last night and I loved it. Very strong running for my favorite Spidey film alongside SM 2. The cast was perfect, the tone worked and the villain was great as I knew Micheal would be. Now DC needs to do the right thing and make a Batman Beyond movie and cast him as Bruce Wayne lol

I've loved all the Spider-Man actors with Tobey having been my favorite. Tom Holland completely changed that with this film. I loved him in Civil War but I needed to see how he handled an entire film to make a final call and he absolutely nailed it. If the Marvel Studios can't do anything else, they know how to cast their stars. I can't think of a single hero in the MCU off the top of my head that I've thought they could have gotten someone else for or who's performance left more to be desired from the character and they didn't break that trend here. As already mentioned, he as perfect as Peter Parker/Spider-Man as RDJ is as Tony Stark/Iron Man. I may go again Thursday when I'm off, haven't decided yet.

I have to wonder WHO Tony sold the tower too. Could it not matter in the next few Marvel films and just be a device to move them to the new facility? Could perhaps The Kingpin have made moves from prison? Perhaps they're leaving the door open for a potential deal with Fox that would bring the Fantastic Four to the MCU and the building be purchased by Reed Richards? I'm excited to see that possibility.

Also Donald Glover as the Prowler? Very nice. Easter egg of him being the Aaron Davis version and mentioning his nephew who happens to be a certain spider themed superhero? Even nicer. Nice to know that Miles does indeed exist in the MCU.

It’s almost a lock the Fantastic Four are taking that building at this point . I think they’ve been eyeing this moment for a while and planning for it. Gonna be a long wait for May.

I agree, that tower has to go to FF. It fits in perfectly to the MCU and they can be plugged in anytime.

If they want to introduce the X-men, I can see Thanos causing something where the mutant gene is unlocked in some people. I'm also okay with having the X-men universe be completely separate from the MCU since it's such a rich universe on their own.
