Only thing is that I'm not sure if mods can edit the number of responses. If not, then maybe just have a fixed number of main answers along with a write in option for minor characters.

Re: Best Character of the Show
Jerry was the perfect straight man and as close to a POV character as you got on that show. If the show was only full of off the wall characters than it would've have gelled as well. That's not to say Jerry's character didn't have idiosyncrasies of his own but it was muted by the insanity of George and Kramer.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Best Character of the Show
All valid points above and of course it's just a matter of opinion.. I mean after all that's what polls are.
For me, I had to look at who was the one character when involved with any or all others that was the most impactful in light of how he was playing off the other(s) and that has to be George. I think his quotes from the show are most remarkable, topped by, "It's not a lie, if you believe it!"
I think if Puddy had been around from beginning to end it would have been a close contender for me.Comment

PM me with characters. We'll probably need to reset this thread each time and I'm not gonna keep a list.Comment

Re: Best Character of the Show
For Friends, I think we'd really just need the main 6 and an other option or something? At most, Gunther along with the 6, but nobody else I think has really appeared on more than 20 episodes guest starring.Comment

As an example the original "Babu episode" where he is thinking to himself about what a great humanitarian he is for helping this foreigner with his restaurant. It starts out with Jerry actually wanting to help the guy, but then it quickly turns to him just wanting to feel good about himself.Comment
