Survivor: Triple H

The name itself is probably the worst name in Survivor history, so I'm simply calling it "Survivor Triple H" because that sounds better. Premieres this Wednesday (September 27) at it's usual 8pm timeslot. 1 hour episode.

After doing BB rankings, I thought about doing Survivor ones. Much harder to do, so I'll just group them by "tiers". Some of older ones like Vanuatu,Guatemala,Amazon,Marquesas are harder since I haven't seen them since they aired, and mostly basing it off how much of the cast list sicks out to me. Winner rankings compared to season rankings would be diff 'tier' rankings for me.

In no particular order though, I'd rank the seasons:

Top Tier:
Pearl Islands,All Stars,Panama,Cook Islands,Fiji,Fans vs Faves 1,Tocantins,Heroes vs Villains,Blood vs Water 1,Second Chance,Borneo

2nd Tier
Australian Outback,Africa,Palau,Samoa,South Pacific,Fans vs Faves 2,Game Changers,Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty 1,Millennials vs Gen X,Philippines

3rd Tier:
Blood vs Water 2,Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty 2,Worlds Apart,Vanuatu,Guatemala,Amazon

Bottom Tier:
China,One World,Nicaragua,Redemption Island,Gabon,Thailand,Marquesas

Agree/disagree with some rankings? Of all in my top 2 tiers, I've seen(or re-watched) all but Tocantins,Africa,Samoa the past several years(I usually just re-watch 1 season inbetween each new season). Tocantins is probably the one I'll watch next. Cook Islands is one I just finished. Never realized just how close that finals were. Best final vote ever. Theme of season though..talk about controversial. At least it lead to most diverse cast ever.

The main point of preseason predictions is to make predictions before seeing how anything plays out. I'll leave poll open for a day or so after premiere though

My usual pre-season assessments just based on bios:

Alan-Former NFL player. Seems real competitive and hates liars. With 3 tribes to start a season, they might keep him around for longer since he would be helping even moreso on challenges/tribe life, but can see them getting him out first good chance.

Patrick-Mental/Social game wise he seems like he could fly under the radar in a good way.

Ben-A marine and hates people who complain. Wouldn't be surprised to see him snap at some of those castaways who complain about the weather/conditions.

Ali-Doesn't really seem like she'll do well at the survival part of the game

JP-Can help his tribe in challenges, but don't really see him standing out

Chrissy-Basically just the mom looking for an adventure and will be happy if she makes it past a few tribals.

Jessica-Seems like she could hold her own out there, but not really be a stand out player.

Roark-Just seems all around weird based on her bio. Hopefully in a funny way on TV.

Cole-Seems well equip for Survivor. Hopefully social game is actually good and doesn't just go into a showmance.

Joe-To me he seems like a mix between Tony and Russell. I think he could be a good player, but others might just want him out early.

Simone-Will probably be rubbing people the wrong way at camp.

Ashley-One of the few who says they're a longtime fan. If they have lots of swimming challenges, she'll do real well.

Devon-Will probably be that laid back joker of the season. Ozzy/Malcolm are his 2 fave players, so maybe he could end up like them.

Katrina-A former olympic swimmer. People might judge her by her age, so if she does get a chance to prove herself early, she'll last.

Lauren-Feels like she won't connect with her tribe as much.

Ryan-Another player who could really fly under the radar. Though he mentions Todd(China season) which is one of the worst seasons ever for me, and one of worst winners(especially post-survivor).

Desi-Smart person who seems like she could be fairly well rounded.

Mike-An older superfan who will basically be the smart/weird guy of the season.

Cast doesn't stand out a huge deal at first, but based on bios I'd say Alan,Joe,Roark would be 3 I'd like most and want in the F3.

I doubt they will use that Super Idol again for first evictions only. What a waste of time that was!

lol ya, they spent way too much time on something that was completely pointless in a one episode only power. It also seemed so weird having them get someone to place the package in her bag. All those jokes over the years about production riggage, just to see them actually do what people have joked about over the years.

Makes no sense though. Chrissy is saying how she has the idol and will see if she is keeping it or using it for someone. At tribal, her closest ally is on the chopping block, she DOESN'T give her the idol and votes her out......Now the idol is completely removed from the game. I wonder if she can use it as a prop now or if she had to give it back. Because it's a legitimate idol, so she could play up a fake idol find.

I wonder if she misunderstood the idol, and figured by saving the other mom squader they'd revote and she'd be the one going home instead.

She's not in trouble. If she uses it, she paints a target on herself for the next vote and makes the tribe weaker. Alan is crazy, so he is probably gone next.

Isn't she already a target? She's an older person who doesn't connect with the younger tribe and won't be as good on challenges. Survivor 101, those people go early. If tribe is smart, they save Alan for 1 more tribal. Why vote off a strong competitor? Just increases your chances of going to tribal again.

If she uses idol, it saves the other person, then vote out one of the guys. Splits up power duo, gives themselves a 2 person alliance while the other 3 are scrambling, possibly just get Ashley to be on girls side.

Since there are 3 tribes, you know they will do some kind of switch up soon. She just has to make it to there. She knows Alan has already put a target on his back, I don't see how he doesn't get voted out or 1 of the 2 is sent home. It just leaves all the focus on him and doesn't turn his crazy on to you.

Looks like Chrissy did have a backup plan that everyone was thinking. She keeps this idol for herself to use later on. If she doesn't get a chance to go through with her fake idol plan, I hope she at least gives it to someone else and lets them go through with it. This is the most authentic "fake" idol in Survivor history, so not a single person would doubt if it's a real one.
