***Bronn pops up again to Tyrions surprise***

Tyrion- Well if you are going to kill me, can we just skip the formalities and make it quick. I'm good as dead anyway. I don't think the queen will be in need of my services much longer.

Bronn- Kill you? You owe me. I'm here to make sure you deliver on your promise you little s***. Now let's go.
What power does Tyrion have at this point? No army. Set Jaimie free, so he's probably no longer the hand of the queen and she probably wants him dead. He can't deliver because at this point he has nothing. I don't see how it's so far fetched for people to think Bron kills him. You literally just made up some random scenario to justify your claim.

Here's another scenario - Tyrion can no longer say that "A Lannister alway pays his debts" because he has nothing to give Bron. Tyrion dies by the man that has kept him alive for so long because he can no longer cleverly weasel his way out of things by using the Lannister name.

Wether it happens or not, it's a pretty reasonable theory to think Bron kills him.

How can you say he has nothing?

Tywin is dead. Cercei and her kids are dead. Jamie is dead.

Tyrion is still a Lannister. Still the son of Tywin. That leaves him as the heir to Casterly Rock. That gives him power and wealth.

He asks for it from Tywin way-back-when in the scene where Tywin rips completely into him before not giving it to him...so him becoming the Lord of casterly rock would actually bring that storyline full circle as well.

Unless I'm missing how this whole inheritance thing works. Lol

I think you're missing how game of thrones works. Danny is the queen now. She has say. It doesn't look too good for Tyrion.

          Yes and no.

She's trying to strong arm the throne. But John is the true heir. And people know it.

So if she succeeds at taking the throne, then what you said has validity. But if she doesn't, then Tyrion should indeed be Lord of Casterly Rock.

-Yet another villian dying very anti-climatically. I was cool with the Night King Death I thought it made sense, this one not as much.

-Where was this awareness about the evils of the iron throne from Drogon last week? Could have saved us that disaster

-8 seasons and the Iron Throne comes down to Tyrion saying Bran has some good stories he should be king and everyone shrugging and saying ehh why not

-What they did to Brienne's character is a travesty

-Last 20 minutes or so felt like the ending to some sitcom or something

-Overall very similar to Lost in that it was a show that started off with great writing and the potentially to be an all time great show and ended still entertaining but one of those turn your brain off type shows

Too clean. But I'm glad it is over. More excited for episode 3 of Chernobyl tomorrow night.

The only thing I liked with the ending was Jon being sent to the Night's Watch. It makes sense.

Sansa, Bran, Arya, and others in the North knew the Night's Watch was no more, the Dothraki and Unsullied didn't. The Dothraki and Unsullied thought by sending Jon there he would rot there until his last day. That simply wasn't the case.

Since Sansa and others knew the Night's Watch was no more, they knew Jon would be free. They knew the Wildling's were there, they knew Jon would go beyond the wall and ultimately become King Beyond the Wall. I think Jon realized what was going on once he saw Tormund at Castle Black. All the Wildling's and Jon left Castle Black and closed the gate behind them. Jon has always belonged North and now he's free to do as he wishes in peace knowing nobody will go after him.

I didn't make this connection myself, and think an 'inside the episode' could have made this clearer, was waiting for it and instead we got HBO ads.

It kind of did. For me the only time it came into play was when Drogon was going berserk when Danny was killed. He could've killed Jon right then and there, but didn't because he's a Targaryen.

Remember when Jon first went to Dragonstone to meet Danny? Drogon was there. No one had ever been able to really go near Drogon but Danny. But for some reason Drogon let Jon touch him which left Danny shocked. Fast forward to tonight's episode. Drogon threatened to kill Jon but didn't because like Danny, Jon was a Targaryen.

Maybe I'm reading too far into it but that's how I saw it.
